दक्षिणपूर्वरेलवे SOUTH EASTERN RAILWAY प्रेसविज्ञप्ति PRESS RELEASE SER TO RESTORE MAIL/EXPRESS, MEMU & PASSENGER TRAIN SERVICES Kolkata, 30th December 2020: South Eastern Railway, after considering the demand of the passengers, has decided to restore the train services with the resumption of following Mail/Express, MEMU and Passenger trains towards different directions. The aforesaid trains will run as per the following programme till further advice:-
Passengers are requested to kindly converse with NTES (National Train Enquiry System) App for update, intersectional stoppages and timings of train services before undertaking journey. Press Release NON-SUBURBAN PASSENGER TRAIN SERVICES RESUMED OVER ER Kolkata, December 2, 2020: Non-suburban short distance passenger train services resumed over different sections of ER today (2.12.2020). For more convenience of the commuters ER is running a total of 81 non-suburban passenger trains comprising of 30 trains in Howrah Division, 33 trains in Asansol Division and 18 trains in Malda Division. Arrangements have been made for campaign regarding Covid Appropriate Behaviour to be followed by the passengers, Crowd management, markings for maintaining physical distancing etc. Howrah Division is running 30 passenger train services of which 8 trains are in Barddhaman – Rampurhat section, 6 trains in Rampurhat – Gumani section, 2 trains in Rampurhat – Dumka – Jasidih section, 8 trains in Katwa – Azimganj section & 6 passenger trains in Azimganj – Rampurhat section. Asansol Division is running 33 passenger train services of which 8 trains are in Barddhaman – Asansol section, 4 trains in Andal – Sainthia section, 4 trains in Asansol – Dhanbad section, 4 trains in Asansol – Jasidih – Jhajha section, 5 trains in Jasidih-Baidyanathdham section, 2 trains in Andal - Jasidih section, 4 in Bhagalpur-Banka-Hansdiha –Poreyahat –Dumka section and 2 passenger trains in Rampurhat-Dumka-Jasidih section. Malda Division is running 18 passenger train services of which 4 trains are in Bhagalpur-Banka-Hansdiha- Passengers are requested to follow Covid-19 protocols.
