RUNNING OF SPECIAL TRAIN BETWEEN

HATIA AND PURI

 

Kolkata, 25th March, 2021:

 

Keeping in view the demand of the passengers,it has been decided to run Special Train between Hatia and Puri w.e.f. 02.04.2021 from Hatia and w.e.f. 01.04.2021 from Puri till further advice.

 

08451 Hatia-Puri Special leaving Hatia daily at 16.00 hrs will arrive Puri at 06.10 hrs the next day. In the opposite direction, 08452 Puri-Hatia Special leaving Puri daily at 20.30 hrs will arrive Hatia at 10.45 hrs the next day.

The train with o­ne AC 2-Tier, two AC 3-Tier, two AC Composite Coaches, nine Sleeper Class and four General Second Class coaches will have stoppages at Govindpur Road, Bano, Orga, Rourkela, Rajgangpur, Bamra, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Angul, Talcher, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar and Khurda Road stations between Hatia and Puri.

Passengers are requested to strictly follow all the safety protocols before and during journey in the wake of COVID-19 Pandemic.

Exhibition cum Vendors Meet Held




Hyderabad Division of South Central Railway held an Exhibition of Railway specific materials for enhancing vendor base of approved sources and to promote “MAKE IN INDIA” policy of Government of India. Shri N S R Prasad, Divisional Railway Manager, Hyderabad Division inaugurated the Exhibition today i.e., 29th January, 2021 at Hyderabad Bhavan, Hyderabad Divisional Headquarters office building, Secunderabad.

Telangana State has a large manufacturing base and immense potential to manufacture Railway specific items. Hyderabad Division o­n the directives of Research Design and Standards Organization (RDSO), has facilitated to display the items in the exhibition hall for appreciation, encouragement and development of prospective vendors.

All information like detail specification, end use of items, last purchase cost of Railways, Price List Code Numbers etc., were displayed with each item. The procedure to access detail specifications of product from RDSO website and other vendor approving agency was also explained along with policy of approval of sources. The Vendors were encouraged to participate in tenders and were also told to secure developmental orders for Railway specific items. Now, Railway procurement is end to end o­n digital platforms right from tender offer to payment of bills. All procurement processes are now o­n the o­nline platform of IREPS which is benefiting tremendously to Micro and Small Enterprises (MSE) sources also. Feedback forms were provided to all the firm representatives for submission of their suggestions.

Shri Hem Singh Banoth, Shri B.R.KReddy, Additional Divisional Railway Manager’s, Hyderabad Division, Shri A.K Ranjan, Sr. Divisional Material Manager, Hyderabad Division, other officials and around 30 representatives of local manufacturing units were also present during the occasion. Representatives of manufacturing units have examined the items physically for better appreciation and understanding the complexities of the items and application of items.
