1 Trains from (pgr)pugalur to (PCV)PALAKKODU

Fixed time corridor Traffic Block/Power Block has been sanctioned for facilitating engineering works during the month of April  for replacement of Steel Girder at Bridge No. 504 at Podanur Railway Yard  in Salem Division. Consequently, the following changes are made in the pattern of train services as detailed below:

Diversion of Express Trains Services:

1.Train No. 13351 Dhanbad – Alappuzha Express leaving Dhanbad at 11.35 hrs o­n 26^th and 28^th   April, 2023 will be diverted to run via Salem, Namakkal, Karur, Dindigul, Palani, Pollachi and Palakkad Skipping stoppages at Erode,  Tiruppur and Coimbatore

2.Train No. 16159 Chennai Egmore – Mangalore Central Express leaving Chennai Egmore at 23.15 hrs o­n  27^th and 29^th April, 2023 will be diverted to run via Tiruchchirappalli, Dindigul , Palani, Pollachi and Palakkad Skipping stoppages at Tiruchchirappalli fort, Karur, Pugalur, Kodumudi, Erode, Uttikuli, Tiruppur,  Pilamedu, Coimbatore North, Coimbatore and Podanur

ShortTermination of Train Services:

1. Train No. 06819 Erode – Palakkad Town MEMU Special  leaving Erode  at 07.15 hrs o­n 28^th  and 30^th  April, 2023 will be short terminated at Coimbatore. The train will be partially  cancelled Coimbatore and Palakked town

2. Train No.16722 Madurai - Coimbatore Express leaving Madurai at 07.25 hrs o­n 28^th and 30^th April, 2023 will be short terminated at Podanur. The train will be partially cancelled Podanur and Coimbatore

3. Train No. 16607 Kannur – Coimbatore MEMU Express leaving Kannur at 06.20 hrs o­n 28^th  and 30^th April ,2023 will be Short terminated at Podanur.The train will be partially cancelled Podanur and Coimbatore

4. Train No.06804 Shoranur Jn – Coimbatore Jn MEMU Express Special leaving  Shoranur Jn at 15.10 hrs o­n 28^th April ,2023 will be Short terminated at Podanur. The train will be partially cancelled Podanur and Coimbatore

Change in Originating Station:

1.Train No.16608 Coimbatore – Kannur MEMU Express leaving Coimbatore at 14.20 hrs o­n 28^th and 30^th April, 2023 will originate from Podanur instead of Coimbatore. The train will leave Podanur at its scheduled departure time of 14.34 hrs

2. Train No.16721 Coimbatore – Madurai Express leaving Coimbatore at 14.40 hrs o­n 28^th  and 30^th April, 2023 will originate from Podanur instead of Coimbatore. The train will leave Podanur at its scheduled departure of 14.52 hrs

3.Train No. 06805 Coimbatore Jn – Shoranur Jn MEMU Express special leaving Coimbatore at 11.55 hrs o­n 28^th April, 2023 will originate from Podanur instead of Coimbatore. The train will leave Podanur at its scheduled departure time of 12.05  hrs

4. Train No. 06818 Palakkad Town- Erode MEMU Express Special leaving Palakkad Town at 14.40 hrs o­n 28^th and 30^th April, 2023 will Originate Coimbatore instead of Palakkad Town. The train will leave Coimbatore at its scheduled departure time of 16.20 hrs

South Western Railway has notified change in pattern of train services due to Pre Non interlocking/Interlocking works for facilitating Track doubling work between Heelalige – Carmelaram Section of Bengaluru Division as detailed below:

ØTrain No.16529 SMVT Bengaluru – Karaikal Express leaving SMVT Bengaluru at 07.30 hrs o­n 19^th & 20^th February, 2023 will be diverted to run via Baiyyappanahalli, Bangarapet, Jolarpettai Jn, Tirupattur and Salem skipping stoppages at Belandur Road, Carmelaram, Heelalige, Anekal Road, Hosur, Kelamangalam, Periyanagathunai, Rayakkottai, Marandahalli, Palakkodu, Dharmapuri, Sivadi, Muttampatti, Toppur, Karuvalli, Semmandappatti and Omalur.

ØTrain No.16530 Karaikal – SMVT Bengaluru Express leaving Karaikal Jn at 05.20 hrs o­n 19^th & 20^th February, 2023 will be diverted to run via Salem, Tirupattur, Jolarpettai Jn, Bangarapet and Baiyyappanahalli skipping stoppages at Omalur, Semmandappatti, Karuvalli, Toppur, Muttampatti, Sivadi, Dharmapuri, Palakkodu, Marandahalli, Rayakkottai, Periyanagathunai, Kelamangalam, Hosur, Anekal Road, Heelalige, Carmelaram and Belandur Road.

ØTrain No.12677 KSR Bengaluru – Ernakulam Jn Superfast Express leaving KSR Bengaluru at 06.10 hrs o­n 19^th & 20^th February, 2023 will be diverted to run via Baiyyappanahalli, Bangarapet, Jolarpettai Jn, Tirupattur and Salem skipping stoppages at Carmelaram, Hosur and Dharmapuri.

ØTrain No. 12678 Ernakulam Jn – KSR Bengaluru Superfast Express leaving Ernakulam Jn at 09.10 hrs o­n 19^th & 20^th February, 2023 will be diverted to run via Salem, Tirupattur, Jolarpettai Jn, Bangarapet and Baiyyappanahalli skipping stoppages at Dharmapuri, Hosur and Carmelaram
