RPF/ER PROVIDED ALL ROUND SECURITY TO THE PASSENGERS TIRELESSLY o­n 24X7 BASIS

 

Kolkata, July 15, 2021:

 1)On 11.7.2021, officers & staff of RPF Post/Seoraphuli with the assistance of local police, Seoraphuli arrested two touts from a travel agency situated at Srirampur, district – Hooghly and recovered 16 Railway e-tickets valued Rs.13120/-, 15 Railway old tickets valued Rs.8270/- and other incriminating articles from their possession.

 2)On 10.7.2021, Escort Officials of RPF Post/Sealdah rescued a teenage girl from 02348 Darjeeling Mail Special. It could be learnt that she fled home o­n being scolded by her mother. o­n arrival of the train at Bolpur Railway station she was secured to RPF Post, Bolpur station. She was subsequently handed over to her mother after proper identification & documentation.

 3)On 11.7.2021, officers & staff of RPF Post/Jamalpur has rescued a minor girl found loitering aimlessly at Jamalpur Railway station. o­n query it could be learnt that she was separated from her father while boarding in 73431 UP Jamalpur – Kiul Passenger. The rescued girl was handed over to her cousin after proper verification & documentation.

 4)On 11.7.2021, officers & staff of RPF Central Post/Howrah conducted raid and recovered o­ne carton containing six packets of crackers worth of Rs.9000/- from Howrah Parcel area.

 5)On 11.7.2021, RPF Escort Officials of 03449 Poriyahat – Bhagalpur Passenger has recovered o­ne unclaimed polybag containing 169 bottles of country liquor worth of Rs.8740/- at Kumaradol Halt station and secured to RPF Post/Bhagalpur. These were subsequently handed over to GRP/Bhagalpur for next course of action.

RESUSCITATED ROLE OF RPF/ER TO PROVIDE ALL ROUND SECURITY TO THE PASSENGERS

Kolkata, April 22, 2021:

1)On 17.4.2021, officers & staff of RPF Post, Howrah Central rescued an injured male person. It was learnt that he boarded the 37055 UP Howrah – Seoraphuli local by mistake at Howrah Railway station and after he came to know the mistake, he jumped off from the running train and sustained injury. Necessary assistance was rendered by RPF personnel and subsequently he was shifted to Howrah State General Hospital for treatment. 

2)On 19.4.2021, officers & staff of RPF Post Howrah South rescued a teenaged girl aged about 17 years while she was found loitering at Howrah Railway station. o­n being asked, she disclosed her identity. It could be learnt that she ran away from home in view of some family disputes. Later o­n, she was handed over to her father after proper identification & documentation.

3)On 18.4.2021, officers & staff of RPF Post, Bolpur and GRP/Bolpur rescued an injured male person near Bolpur Railway station. It could be learnt that he was knocked down by running train and sustained injury while trespassing the Railway track. Necessary assistance was rendered and he was shifted to Sian Hospital, Bolpur for further treatment.

4)On 15.4.2021, officers & staff of RPF Post, Sealdah Main, recovered an unclaimed bag containing laptop, charger, key, medicines, clothes, total value of Rs. 36,000/- from an empty coach of 33628 DN Duttapukur – Sealdah local at Sealdah Railway station. The recovered bag was handed over to its owner after due verification and documentation.

5)On 19.4.2021, o­n-duty staff of Sealdah Main recovered an unclaimed ladies bag containing two mobile phones, o­ne pair gold ear rings total value Rs.12,000/- in 03174 DN Agartala – Sealdah Express Special. Later o­n, the recovered articles were handed over to its owner after due verification and documentation.

6)On 19.4.2021, officers & staff of RPF Post, Howrah North recovered an unclaimed mobile phone valued Rs. 10,000/- from the premises of Howrah Railway station and secured to RPF Post. Later o­n, the recovered mobile phone was handed over to its owner after due verification and documentation.
