Restoration of Special Trains Between Pune and Ernakulam

Central Railway has decided to restore the services of special trains between Pune and Ernakulam to clear the extra rush of passengers. The details are as under -

1. Pune-Ernakulam Weekly Specials

01197 Weekly Special will leave Pune every Saturday at 22.10 hrs from 25.9.2021 till further advice and arrive Ernakulam at 03.20 hrs o­n third day.

01198 Weekly Special will leave Ernakulam every Monday at 18.50 hrs from 27.9.2021 till further advice and arrive Pune at 23.35 hrs next day.

Halts: Satara, Karad, Sangli, Miraj o­n Central Railway

Composition: o­ne AC 2-Tier, Four AC 3-Tier, 11 Sleeper class 6 Second class seating

2. Increase in frequency of Pune-Ernakulam-Pune Specials from Weekly to Bi-Weekly with existing path, composition and timings.

01150 Pune-Ernakulam will now run Ex-Pune every Sunday and Wednesday with effect from 29.9.2021.

01149 Ernakulam-Pune will now run Ex-Ernakulam every Tuesday and Friday with effect from 01.10.2021.

Reservation: Bookings for fully reserved special train no01197 and revised days of 01150 on normal fares will open o­n 18.9.2021 at all computerised reservation centres and o­n website www.irctc.co.in.

Revised timings of 01504 Ratnagiri-Diva reserved passenger special

Passengers to please note that 01504 Ratnagiri-Diva reserved passenger special will now arrive at::

Jite at 11.27 instead of 11.47,

Apta at 11.39 instead of 11.59 and

Panvel at 12.00 instead of 12.20

66th GM’s Annual Railway Award Function o­n Central Railway -

Bhusaval Division won overall efficiency Shield.

 

Shri Anil Kumar Lahoti, General Manager, Central Railway gave away the Annual Awards to 132 officers and staff for their outstanding and exemplary work and overall efficiency shield to Bhusawal Division during the year 2020-21 in a function held at Central Railway Auditorium at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Mumbai.  Due to covid protocol o­nly the awardees from headquarters, Mumbai Division and workshops/units under jurisdiction of Mumbai Division were present. He also gave away Inter-Divisional efficiency shields to Divisions, Workshops, Railway stations.

 

Bhusaval Division was the proud winner of 4 Shields for Departmental Efficiency which included Operating, Commercial, Personnel Shield and Work Efficiency Shield and Stores Efficiency Shield was jointly with Nagpur Division.  Shri S.S. Kedia, Divisional Railway Manager, Bhusaval Division received the Shields along with the concerned branch officer of the respective departments.

 

Mumbai Division won Electrical, Accounts, Security and Punctuality shield jointly with Solapur Division and Engineering shield jointly with Nagpur Division. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus station of Mumbai Division received the Shield for the Best Station for Cleanliness (under A1, A and B category stations). Best kept garden was awarded to Sangli railway station and Workshop efficiency (Electrical/Mechanical) to Matunga Workshop.  Best construction unit shield won by Nagpur Division  Best Division for cleanliness shield won by Solapur Division.

 

Shri Anil Kumar Lahoti, General Manager, Shri B.K. Dadabhoy, Additional General Manager, Dr. A.K. Sinha, Principal Chief Personnel Officer, Principal Heads of the Department and the Divisional Railway Manager of the Division winning the Shield were present o­n stage during the event.

 

Shri Anil Kumar Lahoti, General Manager, Central Railway while addressing the gathering elaborated Central Railway’s achievements during the year of pandemic. He congratulated all the awardees and said that he was proud to have a strong workforce under the guidance of all Principal Heads of Departments and Divisional Railway Managers. He also appreciated the cooperation given by the trade unions. Earlier, Dr. A.K. Sinha, Principal Chief Personnel Officer welcomed the gathering.

 

All the Principal Heads of Departments, Divisional Railway Managers and other officials of the Central Railway, Smt. Menu Lahoti, President and executive committee members of Central Railway Women’s Welfare Organisation, recognised union representatives were present o­n the occasion. The function was followed by a Cultural program.  The whole programme was live cast o­n YouTube channel by PR Department.
