REGULATION OF TRAINS FOR LINKING OF GOODS PLATFORM OVER NORTHERN RAILWAY Kolkata, May 10, 2022: For commissioning work of DFCCIL at Govindgarh station in Ambala Cant. – Ludhiana section of Northern Railway, Non-interlocking work has been planned with following arrangements in train running:- Cancellation: 1.22317 Sealdah – Jammu Tawi Humsafar Express (Journey Commencing on 23.05.2022) 2.22318Jammu Tawi – Sealdah Humsafar Express (Journey Commencing on 25.05.2022) Diversion: 1.12357 Kolkata – Amritsar Durgiana Express (Journey Commencing on 21.05.2022) will be diverted via Chandigarh – Sanahwal. 2.13152 Jammu Tawi – Kolkata Express (Journey Commencing on 22.05.2022 & 23.05.2022) will be diverted via Chandigarh – Sanahwal skipping stoppages at Kanna, Sirhind, Rajpura & Ambala City. 3.12317 Kolkata – Amritsar Akal Takht Express (Journey Commencing on 22.05.2022) & 12318 Amritsar – Kolkata Akal Takht Express (Journey Commencing on 24.05.2022) will be diverted via Rajpura – Dhuri – Ludhiana skipping stoppage at Sirhind. Inconvenience to be caused to the passengers is deeply regretted. 2

North Central Railway won 8 medals in the recently concluded All India Railway Boxing Championship held in New Delhi from 19th April to 22nd April. It is to be informed that Jitendra Kumar won gold medal in 51 kg weight category, Gaurav Bidhuri won silver medal in 57 kg weight category, Ashish Kulheriya won silver medal in 71 kg weight category, Vineet won silver medal in 80 kg weight category, Kuldeep won bronze medal in 48 kg weight category, Sandeep Kumar won bronze medal in 60 kg weight category, Brijesh Meena won bronze medal in 86 kg weight category and Ankit Kumar won bronze medal in super heavy weight category. Boxers of North Central Railway excelled in All India Railway Boxing Championship and North Central Railway finished fourth in overall standing in All India Boxing Championship. In the 51 kg weight category, Jitendra Kumar won the gold medal by defeating Manjit Kumar Eastern Railway's boxer in his final match. It is to be known that Jitendra Kumar is a resident of Agra only. In this championship 10 boxers of North Central Railway participated and out of which eight boxers won medals. In the role of head coach, Atul Siddharth and assistant coach Ashish Mishra encouraged the team. It is to be known that earlier Gaurav Bidhuri, a boxer working in North Central Railway has won the medal in the World Championship and Ashish Kulheriya has won the medal representing India in the Asian Championship. Vineet Kumar also represented India in the World Championships last year in his weight category. General Manager Shri Pramod Kumar expressed happiness on this achievement of his players and motivated them to perform similarly at national and international level in future also.
