Change in the Pattern of Train Services

In view of engineering works for facilitating removal of Temporary girder o­n Up & Down Fast Lines between Basin Bridge Junction – Vyasarpadi section, the following changes are made in the pattern of train services

Diversion of Train Services

1.Train No. 22645 Indore – Kochuveli Weekly Express leaving Indore at 16.45 hrs o­n 01st May, 2023 will be diverted to run via Korukkupet, Vyasarpadi and Perambur skipping stoppages at Dr MGR Chennai CentralAdditional stoppage will be provided at Perambur [(23.25(Arr)/23.30(Dep)]  for the convenience of passengers

2.Train No. 13351 Dhanbad – Alappuzha Express leaving Dhanbad at 11.35 hrs o­n 01st May, 2023 will be diverted to run via Korukkupet, Vyasarpadi and Perambur skipping stoppage at Dr MGR Chennai CentralAdditional stoppage will be provided at Perambur [(23.35(Arr)/23.40(Dep)] for the convenience of passengers

3.Train No. 13352 Alappuzha -  Dhanbad Express leaving Alappuzha Jn at 06.00 hrs o­n 04th May, 2023 will be diverted to run via Korukkupet, Vyasarpadi and Perambur skipping stoppage at Dr MGR Chennai CentralAdditional stoppage will be provided at Perambur [21.55 (Arr)/22.05 (Dep)] for the convenience of passengers

4.Train No. 22648 Kochuveli – Korba Superfast Express leaving Kochuveli at 06.15 hrs o­n 04th May, 2023 will be diverted to run via Perambur skipping stoppage at Dr MGR Chennai CentralAdditional stoppage will be provided at Perambur [23.15 (Arr)/23.25 (Dep)] for the convenience of passengers

Short Termination of Train Services:

1.Train No. 22650 Erode – Dr MGR Chennai Central Yercaud Express leaving Erode at 21.00 hrs o­n 02nd May, 2023 will be short terminated at Perambur. The train will be partially cancelled between Perambur and Dr MGR Chennai Central

2.Train No. 22652 Palakkad – Dr MGR Chennai Central leaving Palakkad at 16.10 hrs o­n 02nd May, 2023 will be short terminated at Avadi. The train will be partially cancelled between Avadi and Dr MGR Chennai Central

3.Train No. 12658 KSR Bengaluru - Dr MGR Chennai Central Mail Express leaving KSR Bengaluru at 22.40 hrs o­n 02nd May, 2023 will be short terminated at Avadi. The train will be partially cancelled between Avadi and Dr MGR Chennai Central

Rescheduling of Train Services:

1.Train No. 12675 Dr MGR Chennai Central – Coimbatore Kovai Express scheduled to leave Dr MGR Chennai Central at 06.10 hrs o­n 03rd May, 2023 will be rescheduled to leave Dr MGR Chennai Central at 06.40 hrs (Late by 30 mins)

2.Train No. 16057 Dr MGR Chennai Central – Tirupati Express scheduled to leave Dr MGR Chennai Central at 06.25 hrs o­n 03rd May, 2023 will be rescheduled to leave Dr MGR Chennai Central at 06.55 hrs (Late by 30 mins)

CHANGE IN TRAIN ORIGINATION / TERMINATION TERMINALS

Due to bridge reconstruction work between MGR Chennai Central and Basin Bridge Junction, as notified by Southern Railway, changes to originating and terminating terminals of train services are as follows:

Change in origination terminal:

1.Train No. 12292 MGR Chennai Central – Yesvantpur Weekly Superfast Express will start its journey from Chennai Beach instead of MGR Chennai Central o­n April 1, 8, 15 & 22, 2023 with an additional stoppage at Perambur.

2.Train No. 22682 MGR Chennai Central – Mysuru Weekly Superfast Express will start its journey from Chennai Beach instead of MGR Chennai Central o­n April 6, 13 & 20, 2023 with an additional stoppage at Perambur.

3.Train No. 12691 MGR Chennai Central – Sri Sathya Sai Prasanthi Nilayam Weekly Superfast Express will start its journey from Chennai Beach instead of MGR Chennai Central o­n April 7, 14 & 21, 2023 with an additional stoppage at Perambur.

Change in termination terminal:

4.Train No. 22681 Mysuru - MGR Chennai Central weekly express, starting from Mysuru o­n April 5, 12 & 19, 2023, will be run o­n a diverted route and terminate at Chennai Beach Jn. instead of MGR Chennai Central.

5.Train No. 12291 Yesvantpur - MGR Chennai Central weekly superfast express, starting from Yesvantpur o­n April 7, 14 & 21, 2023, will be run o­n a diverted route and terminate at Chennai Beach Jn. instead of MGR Chennai Central.

6.Train No.12692 Sri Sathya Sai Prasanthi Nilayam – MGR Chennai Central Weekly Superfast Express, starting from Sri Sathya Sai Prasanthi Nilayam o­n April 8, 15 & 22, 2023, will be run o­n a diverted route and terminate at Chennai Beach Jn. instead of MGR Chennai Central.
