RUNNING OF SUMMER SPECIAL TRAINS BETWEEN KOCHUVELI  - SIR M. VISVESVARAYA TERMINAL BENGALURU

Southern Railway has decided to run weekly summer special trains o­n demand (06083/06084) between Kochuveli – Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru for ten trips in each direction to clear the extra rush of passenger, as per details mentioned below: -

Train No. 06083 Kochuveli – Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru Weekly Summer Special Express will depart from Kochuveli at 06:05 PM o­n every Tuesday from April 25 to June 27, 2023 and arrive at Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru at 10:55 AM o­n the next day.

The train (06083) will arrive / depart enroute stations at Kollam – 07:07/07:10 PM, Kayankulam – 07:43/07:45 PM, Mavelikara – 07:55/07:56 PM, Chengannur – 08:10/08:12 PM, Tiruvalla – 08:24/08:25 PM, Chenganseri – 08:35/08:37 PM, Kottayam – 08:57/09:00 PM, Ernakulam Town – 10:10/10:15 PM, Aluva – 10:37/10:38 PM, Thrissur – 11:37/11:40 PM, Palakkad – 12:55/01:05 AM, Coimbatore – 02:27/02:30 AM, Tiruppur – 03:15/03:17 AM, Erode – 04:15/04:20 AM, Salem – 05:07/05:10 AM, Tirupattur – 06:30/06:32 AM, Bangarapet – 08:43/08:45 AM and Krishnarajapuram – 09:28/09:30 AM.

In the return direction, Train No. 06084 Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru – Kochuveli Weekly Summer Special Express will leave Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru at 12:45 PM o­n every Wednesday from April 26 to June 28, 2023 and reach Kochuveli at 6 AM o­n the next day.

This train will arrive / depart enroute stations at Krishnarajapuram – 12:53/12:55 PM, Bangarapet – 01:48/01:50 PM,  Tirupattur – 03:28/03:30 PM, Salem – 04:57/05:00 PM, Erode – 05:55/06:00 PM, Tiruppur – 06:43/06:45 PM, Coimbatore – 08:15/08:20 PM, Palakkad – 09:20/09:30 PM, Thrissur – 11:55/11:58 PM, Aluva – 01:08/01:10 AM, Ernakulam Town – 01:30/01:35 AM, Kottayam – 02:40/02:43 AM, Chenganseri – 03:00/03:02 AM, Tiruvalla – 03:14/03:15 AM, Chengannur – 03:28/03:30 AM, Mavelikara – 03:44/03:45 AM, Kayankulam – 03:55/03:56 AM and Kollam – 04:40/04:43 AM.

The special trains will have a composition of twenty coaches i.e., Sixteen - AC Three-tier Sleeper Garib Rath coaches, Two - Second Class Sleeper coaches and Two – Brake-Van, Luggage cum Generator Car. The fare of this train will be charged @ 1.3 times.

Train No. 06083 Kochuveli – SMVT Bengaluru Special Fare Summer Special will leave Kochuveli at 18.05 hrs o­n 25^th April, 02^nd, 09^th, 16^th, 23^rd, 30^th May, 06^th, 13^th, 20^th, 27^th June, 2023 (Tuesday) and reach SMVT Bengaluru at 10.55 hrs, the next day (10 Services)

In return direction Train No. 06084 SMVT Bengaluru - Kochuveli Special Fare Summer Special will leave SMVT Bengaluru at 12.45 hrs o­n 26^th April, 03^rd, 10^th, 17^th, 24^th, 31^st May, 07^th, 14^th, 21^st, 28^th June, 2023 (Wednesday) and reach Kochuveli at 06.00 hrs, the next day (10 Services)

Coach Composition: 16- AC Three Tier Coaches, 2- Sleeper Class Coaches & 2- Luggage cum Brake Vans

Train No. 06042 Mangaluru Jn - Tambaram Special Fare Summer Special will leave Mangaluru Jn at 10.00 hrs o­n 26^th April, 03^rd, 10^th, 17^th, 24^th, 31^st May, 07^th, 14^th, 21^st, 28^th June, 2023 (Wednesday) and reach Tambaram at 04.45 hrs, the next day
