GM/ER’S ANNUAL INSPECTION HELD IN BARDDHAMAN – BANDEL SECTION OF HOWRAH DIVISION TODAY

Kolkata, March 20, 2021:

Shri Manoj Joshi, General Manager, Eastern Railway conducted annual inspection in Barddhaman – Bandel section of Eastern Railway’s Howrah Division today (20.3.2021). He inspected different stations, interacted with gangmen and other field staff of the Railway, inspected Railway colonies, bridges and Railway track.

At Shaktigarh, he took stock of safety, security and passenger amenity measures and conducted speed trial between Shaktigarh & Simlagarh stations. He also inspected station building at Shaktigarh and planted saplings in the Railway premises.

He interacted with 30 gangmen at Level Crossing Gate No. 17 between Simlagarh & Pandooah stations.

At Pandooah, he inspected station complex, adjacent children park, Railway colony, waiting hall and outdoor Gym. He also inspected fire prevention arrangement at Panel Room. 

He inspected Level Crossing Gate No. 15 between Pandooah & Khanyan stations. He also inspected Bridge No. 100 between Talandu & Magra.

At Magra, Shri Joshi inspected Gang Hut and interacted with gangmen o­n safety issues.

At Bandel, Shri Joshi inspected EMU Car Shed, visited Planning & Progress Organization and Railway colony. 

Everywhere he interacted with Railway staff & field workers and communicated necessary instructions to them for further improvement of their performance.

Principal Heads of Departments from Headquarters and Divisional Railway Manager, Howrah with other Divisional Officers were present during the General Manager’s Annual Inspection.
