Shri Aneet Dulat, Additional General Manager was also present in the meeting. During the meeting, passengers safety was considered as a matter of utmost importance. There should be zero tolerance on safety issues. With the resumption of long distance trains as well as short distance trains & EMU locals there is greater need of safety inspection by officers and officials at different levels.
Shri Joshi advised that all concerned officers should be extra cautious and conduct thorough safety inspection and arrange for frequent safety patrolling. GM expressed his satisfaction about the continuous endavour of  ER’s RPF for ensuring passenger security and protection of Railway property. RPF has launched ‘Operation Dignity’ and ‘Meri Saheli’ programme to ensure security & dignity of lady passengers.
Shri Joshi laid stress on freight loading for transportation of essential commodities and other industrial inputs in different parts of the country.
Shri Joshi also advised the concerned officials to continue their efforts for even better passenger amenities, more lifts & escalators, frequent cleanliness drive, beautification  and improved aesthetics at stations and trains so that passengers can enjoy comfort while at the station premises or in trains.
