Special Traffic and Power Block o­n 15/16.04.2023 (Sat/Sun midnight)

Special Traffic and Power Block :

Central Railway will operate special traffic and power block o­n all three lines for shifted open web girders for Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation India Ltd bridge between Kopar and Thakurli stations o­n 15/16.4.2023 (Sat/Sun mid-night) from 01.30 hrs to 04.00 hrs.

Shadow Blocks:

Central Railway will also operate Shadow blocks between Ambivli and Asangaon
• Launching of girders for Road Over Bridge at Titwala Up / EMU sidings from 01.15 to 03.30 hrs and o­n Down line from 02.00 hrs to 03.30 hrs.
• Site acceptance test for modification of Electronic Interlocking (Dual Visual Display at Vasind) from Khadavli to Asangaon o­n Up / Down lines from 02.10 hrs to 03.40 hrs.

Due to this the train running pattern will be as under:-

Suburban

• Last Local towards Karjat before the block: A 67 Ambarnath local leaving CSMT at 23.51 hrs.
• Last Local towards Kasara before the block: N 1 Kasara local leaving CSMT at 00.14 hrs.
• First Local towards CSMT after the block: A 4  CSMT local leaving Ambernath at 04.08 hrs.
• First Local towards CSMT after the block: TL 2 CSMT local leaving Titwala at 03.56 hrs.

Regulation of Up trains

• 18030 Shalimar-LTT express will be regulated at Asangaon station from 02.37 hrs to 04.30 hrs and will arrive destination 1 hour later than its scheduled time.
• 12810 Howrah-CSMT express will be regulated at Atgaon station from 02.38 hrs to 03.35 hrs and will arrive destination 1 hour later than its scheduled time.
• 20104 Gorakhpur-LTT express will be regulated at Khardi station from 02.55 hrs to 03.30 hrs and will arrive destination 45 minutes later than its scheduled time.
• 11402 Adilabad-CSMT express and 12152 Shalimar-LTT express will arrive destination 15 to 20 minutes later than its scheduled time.

Following Up trains will be diverted via Karjat-Panvel-Diva route
 
• 11020 Bhubaneswar-CSMT express
• 18519 Vishakapatnam-LTT express
• 12702 Hyderabad-CSMT express

Mumbai Division carried out important infrastructure work of FOBs and ROBs during lockdown and unlock

Mumbai Division of  Central Railway has completed important infrastructure work during the lockdown and unlock period. The amount of work it has done at 45 locations would have required many traffic blocks and impact o­n some trains running during normal period.

New foot over bridges (4 nos)

The work of new  foot over bridges (FOB) at 4 locations viz. Kurla-Sion (Swadeshi Mill), Dombivali, Thakurli and Titwala.

Dismantling of old Foot over bridges (5 nos)

The work of dismantling of distressed 2 steel spans of Foot Over Bridge  at Vadala Road, o­ne span of FOB at Ambarnath, o­ne span at Ambivli, 2 spans at Atgaon,  two spans of more than 100-year-old FOB at Vasind railway station were carried out.

Major Repairing work of Foot over bridges

The repairing work of 32 foot over bridges at 28 stations ie CSMT, Sandhurst Road, Byculla (2), Parel, Dadar, Sion, Mulund (2), Thane, Kalva(2), King's Circle(2), Panvel (2), Ulhasnagar, Badlapur, Khadavali, Vasind, Asangaon, Igatpuri, Bhiwandi Road, Khaman Road, Kharbav, Juchandra, Nilje, Dativali, Taloja, Kalamboli, Chauk and Mohope were carried out successfully.

Repairing of Road Over Bridges

Repairing of road over bridges Khardi, Umbermali, Shilphata and British era Waldhuni Road over bridge at Kalyan completed successfully.

Recently, a new steel ‘Open Web Girder' for Patripul Road Over Bridge was launched successfully across busy railway tracks. The Patripul Road Over Bridge, built in 1914 between Kalyan and Dombivli, which was dismantled sometime back.

Optimum utilisation of manpower during lockdown, effective utilisation of limited resources and machinery and duly observing norms of  COVID19 all above work carried out successfully.
