To mark 75th year of India’s Independence, East Coast Railway has taken Har Ghar Tiranga Drive under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, to encourage its employees to bring the Tiranga at their home and to hoist from 13th to 15th August’2022.

Citizens of the country along with Railway Employees relationship with the National Flag has always been more formal and institutional than personal. Bringing the National Flag to their home collectively, as the nation in the 75th year of independence, thus becomes symbolic of not only an act of personal connection to the Tiranga but also an embodiment of their commitment to Nation-Building.
