Statutory inspection by Commissioner of Railway Safety is scheduled on 09.06.2023. After the inspection and compliances to various safety norms, the newly laid track will be open for railway service. The doubling is part of Londa – Miraj project sanctioned in 2015-16. The project is 100% funded by Ministry of Railways. So far, 154 km out of 186 km had been commissioned.
