Shri K. Arul Jothi takes charge of Principal Chief Security Commissioner of NFR

Shri K. Arul Jothi took charge as Inspector General cum Principal Chief Security Commissioner (IG-cum-PCSC) of Northeast Frontier Railway o­n 24th March, 2023. He is an officer from the 1995 batch of Civil Services Exam. As IG-cum-PCSC he will be the security custodian of all Railway assets, structures including track and fixtures, rolling stock, signalling gears and Railway buildings and establishments like Station premises, Booking Offices, Administrative Head Quarters etc. within the jurisdiction of N. F. Railway i.e. all north-eastern states including Sikkim and parts of West Bengal and Bihar.

Shri Jothi has wide experience of working in field over many Zonal Railways. He has worked in many sensitive areas such as Mughal Sarai, Danapur, Malda, Sealdah and Secunderabad. Earlier in the year 2017-2019 he was posted as Deputy Inspector General cum Chief Security Commissioner of N. F. Railway. Before joining as the IG-cum-PCSC of Northeast Frontier Railway, he was posted as the IG-cum-PCSC of Rail Wheel Factory based at Yelahanka, Bangalore.

Short Termination & Origination of trains due to traffic block on Ambala Division

Short Termination & Origination 
 of trains due to traffic block o­n Ambala Division  
It is notified for the information of the general public that due to traffic block between Kiratpur Sahib- Nangal Dam station o­n Sirhind –Daulatpur Chowk section of Ambala division, the following trains shall remain temporarily short terminated and originate  as under:-
Short Termination/origination of trains: -
04593 Ambala Cantt.-Amb Andaura Special JCO 11.03.23 to 27.04.23 will be short terminated at Bharatgarh. Consequently; the 04594 Amb Andaura - Ambala Cantt.- Special JCO 11.03.23 to 27.04.23 will short originate from Bharatgarh. The 04593/04594 will remain partially cancelled between Amb Andaura - Bharatgarh.
04567 Ambala Cantt - Nangal Dam Special JCO11.03.23 to 27.04.23 will be short-terminated at Bharatgarh. Consequently; the 04568 Nangal Dam –Ambala Cantt. Special JCO 11.03.23 to 27.04.23 short originate from Bharatgarh. The 04567/04568 will remain partially cancelled between Nangal Dam - Bharatgarh.
04501 Saharanpur-Una Himachal Special JCO11.03.23 to 27.04.23 will be short-terminated at Rupnagar. Consequently; the 04502 Una Himachal - Saharanpur Special JCO 11.03.23 to 27.04.23 will short originate from Rupnagar. The 04501/04502 will remain partially cancelled between Una Himachal - Rupnagar.
Cancellation of train
Due to traffic block o­n Jabalpur Division, the 22168 Hazrat Nizamuddin –Singrauli Superfast Express JCO 13.03.2023 & 20.03.2023 will remain cancelled.
