General Manager North Central Railway conducts Inspection of Palwal-Agra section under Annual Inspection Program of Agra Division

General Manager North Central Railway conductsInspection of Palwal-Agra section under Annual Inspection Program of Agra Division

Today o­n 02.03.2022General Manager North Central Railway ShriPramod Kumar along with the team of Principal Heads of Department from North Central Railway Headquarter conducted inspectedPalwal-Agra section under annual inspection of Agra Division. This inspection started in the morning and continued till late evening. Starting from Palwal, the track was inspected from the rear window of the inspection carriage. Major Curves, Bridges, Level Crossing, Gang,, Three Stations (Rundhi, Mathura, and Agra) Yard,  Turn Out, Long welded rail, SEJ, USFD team, speed trials etc. were thoroughly inspected during the day.

Departing from there, the General Manager closely inspected the passenger facilities, colony at Rundhi station, followed by intensive inspection of Railway Yard, Point Testing, Relay Room, Long Valed Rail, SEJ, etc.

GM NCR ShriPramod Kumar inspected Wheel Impact Load Detector (WILD) System installed at Hodal. The system is used to detect the defective wheels of rolling stock.

General Manager tested the riding quality of the track by conducting speed trials at a speed of 120 kmphbetween Rundhi-Kosikalan (30km) section.

Thereafter, Shri Kumar inspected the Curve No. 30and Gang No. 12between Km No. 1424/007-1423/285on Chhata-Ajhai section. He took the next stop over at Non-Interlocked Engineering Level Crossing at Km. No. 1422/16-18. He inspected the gate number 540and thoroughly went through the gateworking.

Moving further, he inspected Mathura station where he took stock of Passenger Amenities, Waiting Rooms, West and East side of Station Circulating Area, Catering Units,Traction Sub Station and Goods Shed etc..

After moving from Mathura, GMinspectedmajor Bridge located at Km. No. 1372/21-19in Farah-Keetham Section

During the inspection of Agra cantt.station, the General Manager did a thorough inspection of the passenger facilities, waiting room, running room, station circulating area etc. After that the inauguratednewly constructed women RPF barracks.

Shri Kumar held a brief meeting with the officers present regarding the development works being done in Agra Division.

At the station, the General Manager felicitated North Central Railway's weightlifting team (the entire team is working in Agra division o­nly) and coach forthe excellent performance in recently held Inter Railway All India Weightlifting Championship at Kapurthala.

During the inspection, the General Manager, North Central Railway interacted with the trackmen and other railway personnel and checked their knowledge of the personnel about their duties and responsibilities. He enquired about the welfare of the staff and directed the concerned officers of the section to pay special attention to the welfare of the employees working in the field.

During the inspection, different teams of officers were formed who were assigned specific tasks. Principal Chief Safety Officer Shri M.K. Gupta led the team inspecting points and crossings, Principal Chief Operations Manager Mr. Biplav Kumar led the team inspecting station records. During the inspection, Principal Chief Commercial Manager S.K Singh , DRM Mr. AnandSwarup and PCE Mr. SK Mishra accompanied the General Manager and IG RPF Mr. RavindraVerma inspected the security installations.

After the inspection, he interacted with recognized trade unionsassociations & ZRUCC members, etc.

Change in Pattern of Train Services

North Central Railway has advised Change in pattern of train services due to the derailment of a goods train in Bhuteshwar – Vrindaban Road section in Mathura Jn – Palwal Route over Agra Division of North Central Railway, as under :-

Cancellation of Trains

Train No. 12642 Hazrat Nizamuddin – Kanniyakumari Bi Weekly Superfast Express scheduled to leave Hazrat Nizamuddin at 05.20 hrs o­n 22.01.22 is fully cancelled.

Diversion of Trains

1.Train No.22634 Hazrat Nizamuddin – Thiruvananthapuram Weekly superfast Express that left Hazrat Nizamuddin at 22.15 hrs o­n 21st January 2022 is diverted via Chata – New Delhi – Delhi – Rewari – Alwar and Jaipur to Thiruvananthapuram

2.Train No. 12615 Dr MGR Chennai Central – New Delhi Grand Trunk Express that left Dr MGR Chennai Central at 18.50 hrs o­n 20th January 2022 has been diverted to run via Jhansi – Agra Cantonment, - Etmadpur – Mitawal – Ghaziabad to New Delhi

3.Train No. 12621 Dr MGR Chennai Central – New Delhi Tamil Nadu Express that left Dr MGR Chennai Central at 22.00 hrs o­n 20th January 2022 has been diverted to run via Jhansi – Agra Cantonment, - Etmadpur – Mitawal – Ghaziabad to New Delhi

4.Train No. 12626 New Delhi – Thiruvananthapuram Kerala Express that left New Delhi at 20.10 hrs o­n 21st January 2022 has been diverted to run via Palwal – Rundhi – New Delhi – Ghaziabad -  Mitawal – Etmadpur – Agra Cantonment to Thiruvananthapuram

5.Train No. 12618 Hazrat Nizamuddin – Ernakulam Mangala Express that left Hazrat Nizamuddin at 05.40 hrs o­n 22nd January 2022 has been diverted to run via  Ghaziabad -  Mitawal – Etmadpur – Agra Cantonment to Ernakulam

6.Train No. 12431 Thiruvananthapuram – Hazrat Nizamuddin Rajdhani Express that left Thiruvananthapuram at 19.15 hrs o­n 20th January 2022 has been diverted to run via Ratlam – Chanderiya to Nizamuddin

7.Train No. 12433 Dr MGR Chennai Central – Hazrat Nizamuddin Rajdhani  Express that left Dr MGR Chennai Central at 06.05 hrs o­n 21st January 2022 has been diverted to run via Agra Cantonment - Etmadpur – Mitawal – Ghaziabad to Nizamuddin

8.Train No. 12269 Dr MGR Chennai Central – Hazrat Nizamuddin Duronto Express that left Dr MGR Chennai Central at 06.35 hrs o­n 21st January 2022 has been diverted to run via Agra Cantonment - Etmadpur – Mitawal – Ghaziabad to Nizamuddin
