•General Manager conducted window trailing inspection over Khana-Pandabeswar section Kolkata, April 16, 2023: Shri Arun Arora, General Manager/ Eastern Railway conducted window trailing inspection over Khana-Pandabeswar section of Asansol Division today ( 16.4.2023) and thoroughly inspected the condition of Railway track, fixed assets and safety gears over the section. General Manager advised all concerned to make all possible for ensuring safety in train running vis-à-vis increase in sectional speed. Shri A.K. Dubey, Principal Chief Engineer and other Principal Officers of Eastern Railway and Shri Parmanand Sharma, Divisional Railway Manager/Asansol accompanied the General Manager during the inspection. After reaching Pandabeswar, Sri Arun Arora, General Manager / Eastern Railway visited the coal mine at Jhajhra and holds meeting with ECL ( Eastern Coalfields Ltd ) Officials and MIC ( Mine Industrial Complex) Officials to induct more and more originating freight revenue for Eastern Railway. It may be noted that under the inspiring guidance of General Manager, Shri Arun Arora, the freight loading of Eastern Railway in F.Y. 2022-23 stood at 79.72 million tons which is highest ever in the history of Eastern Railway. Coal being the principal freight of Eastern Railway, Shri Arora, General Manager aiming to maintain the increasing trend of freight business in Eastern Railway, discussed with the mine officials for grabbing bigger share in coal transport and transport of coal related products. Latter, at Asansol, Shri Arun Arora, General Manager holds meeting with the Divisional Officers in presence of Divisional Railway Manager /Asansol and advised all to keep up the spirit to maintain a steady upwards trend in the performance and serving the passengers with a smile. 2

It is notified for the information of the general public that due to traffic block for insertion of RCC BOXES between Beas-Butari, Tangra -Jandiala & Jandiala-Manawala stations on Sanehwal-Amritsar Section, the 19225/19226 Jodhpur –Jammu Tawi-Jodhapur Express JCO 16.02.2023, 20.02.2023, 23.02.2023, 27.02.2023, 02.03.2023, and 06.03.2023 will be diverted to run via Jalandhar City- Mukerian-Pathankot and skip stoppage of Beas, Amritsar, Verka, Batala, Dhariwal and Gurdaspur.
