WESTERN RAILWAY TO EXTEND TRIPS OF SUPERFAST SPECIAL TRAIN BETWEEN BANDRA TERMINUS AND JABALPUR

For the convenience of passengers and with a view to meet the travel demand, Western Railway has decided to extend the trips of Train No. 02133/02134 Bandra Terminus – Jabalpur Superfast Special train o­n Special fare.

According to a press release issued by Shri Sumit Thakur, Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, details of the train are as under:

Train No. 02133/02134 Bandra Terminus – Jabalpur Superfast Special

Train No. 02133 Bandra Terminus – Jabalpur SF Special will leave Bandra Terminus every Saturday at 17.15 hrs and will reach Jabalpur at 15.10 hrs, the next day. This train which was earlier notified up to 1^stJuly, 2023 has now been extended up to 30^th September, 2023. Similarly, Train No. 02134 Jabalpur – Bandra Terminus SF Special will leave Jabalpur every Friday at 17.00 hrs and will reach Bandra Terminus at 14.10 hrs, the next day.This train which was earlier notified up to 30^th June, 2023 has now been extended up to 29^th September, 2023.

Enroute, this train will halt at Borivali, Vapi, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Ujjain, Sant Hirdaram Nagar, Bhopal, Narmadapuram, Itarsi, Pipariya, and Narsinghpur stations in both directions.

The train comprises of AC First, AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class and General Second Class coaches. 

The booking of extended trips of Train No. 02133 will open from 16^th June, 2023 at PRS counters and IRCTC website. For detailed information regarding timings of halts and composition, passengers may please visit www.enquiry.indianrail.gov.in

I. Extension of Train Services to Bodinayakanur for Train No. 20601/20602 Dr MGR Chennai Central – Madurai – Dr MGR Chennai Central Tri–Weekly Express and Train No. 06701/06702 Madurai – Teni – Madurai Unreserved Daily Express Specials:

As approved by Railway Board, o­n commissioning of Teni – Bodinayakanur Broad Gauge Section, Train No. 20601/20602 Dr MGR Chennai Central – Madurai – Dr MGR Chennai Central Tri–Weekly Express and Train No. 06701/06702 Madurai – Teni – Madurai Unreserved Daily Express Special will be extended up to Bodinayakanur as detailed below:

Dr L Murugan, Hon’ble Minister of State for Information & Broadcasting and Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying will flag off the following extensions Ex. Bodinayakanur o­n 15^th June, 2023 as inaugural Specials:

1.Extension of  Train No. 20602 Madurai – Dr MGR Chennai Central Express to Bodinayakanur as inaugural Special Ex. Bodinayakanur at 20.30 hrs

2.Extension of Train No. 06702 Teni – Madurai Daily Unreserved Express Special (Earlier Train No. 56702) to Bodinayakanur as inaugural special Ex. Bodinayakanur at 20.45

1. The extended regular service of Train No. 20601/20602 Dr MGR Chennai Central – Bodinayakanur – Dr MGR Chennai Central Tri-Weekly Express will commence from Dr MGR Chennai Central with effect from 16^th June, 2023 and from Bodinayakanur with effect 18^th June, 2023:

2. The extended regular service of Train No. 06701/06702 Madurai – Bodinayakanur – Madurai Daily Unreserved Express Special (earlier Train No. 56701/56702) will commence service from Madurai and Bodinayakanur with effect from 16^th June, 2023

II. Stoppage at Kodaikanal Road for Train No. 16127/16128 Chennai Egmore- Guruvayur – Chennai Egmore Express & Train No. 17615/17616 Kacheguda- Madurai – Kacheguda Express:

Dr L Murugan, Hon’ble Minister of State for Information & Broadcasting and Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying will inaugurate the Stoppage at Kodaikanal Road for Train No. 16127/16128 Chennai Egmore - Guruvayur – Chennai Egmore Express & Train No. 17615/17616 Kacheguda - Madurai – Kacheguda Express o­n 15^th June, 2023 by flagging off Train No. 16128 Guruvayur - Chennai Egmore Express at 13.09 hrs

1. The Commercial Stoppage at Kodaikanal Road for Train No. 16127/16128 Chennai Egmore - Guruvayur – Chennai Egmore Express will be with effect from 16^th June, 2023 is as given below:
