REGULATION OF TRAINS FOR BRIDGE MAINTENANCE WORK IN EAST CENTRAL RAILWAY

Kolkata, May 10, 2022:

 

For maintenance of bridge no 1 in between Samastipur & Muktapur stations, 06.00 hours (09:45 hrs. to 14.45 hrs.) Traffic & Power block has been planned o­n 14.05.2022 (Saturday) & 17.05.2022 (Tuesday). Consequently, 13043 Howrah - Raxaul Express (Journey Commencing o­n 13.05.2022) & 17005 Hyderabad Decan - Raxaul Express (Journey Commencing o­n 12.05.2022) will be diverted via Samastipur - Muzaffarpur - Sitamarhi instead of Samastipur - Darbhanga - Sitamarhi and 15553 Bhagalpur- Jaynagar Express (Journey Commencing o­n 14.05.2022) will be rescheduled by 120 minutes from Bhagalpur.

Inconvenience caused to the passengers is deeply regretted.

NFR officials received the 65th& 66th National Railways Award Railways initiative towards recognition of splendid performance

The 65th & 66thNational Railways Award ceremony held at the General Manager’s Conference Hall, Maligaon o­n 11th March, 2022. Shri Anshul Gupta, General Manager of N.F. Railway, gave away the awards along with citation in presence of all the Divisional Railway Managers, Principal Heads of all departments & Senior Railway officials to the employees who got nominated for performing splendidly with utmost dedication during the crucial time of pandemic.

             From N.F. Railway, six officials (two posthumously) got nominated for the 65thNational Railways Award for the year 2020 which could not be organised last year due to pandemic related restrictions. The recipients of the 65thNational Railways Award are- (1) Lt. Metho Roy, Ex. Track Maintainer- III under Sr. Section Engineer/P. Way/Dalkhola/Katihar (posthumously), (2) Lt. Nageshwar Roy, Ex. Track Maintainer- III under Sr. Section Engineer/P. Way/Dalkhola/Katihar (posthumously), (3) Shri Anirudh Kumar, Ex. Station Superintendent/Lepetkata (4) Shri Mahipal, Ex. Assistant Divisional Engineer/Haflong (5) Shri Jayanta Kumar Choudhury, Ex. Sr. Materials Manager, Carriage & Wagon, Headquarter and (6) Ms. Saikhom Mirabai Chanu, Ex. Officer o­n Special Duty/N.F. Railway.

  There are three recipients of the 66th National Railways Award, 2021 from N.F. Railway who received the award and citation from the General Manager for their outstanding performances. They are- (1) Dr. Utsav Shukla, Ex. Sr. Divisional Operation Manager, Lumding (2) Shri Ratan Chandra Boro, Welder Grade I under Sr. Section Engineer/P.Way/ Rangiya, and (3) Shri Paras Mehendiratta, Coaching Depot Officer, Guwahati.

                The National Railways Award is a prestigious award conferred by the Ministry of Railways to very selective employees from amongst all the railway employees of the country for outstanding achievements made in the fields of new innovations, processes, procedures, improvements in productivity, meritorious acts even in disregard to personal safety leading to protection of life and property o­n railways. Special efforts made to increase the earnings as well as rectifying the drawbacks like thefts, touts, ticketless travels etc. are also taken into account. These awards also boost the urge among employees to further improve operations, security & safety, completion of projects in record time and to perform outstandingly in sports or any other fields as every year passes.
