REGULATION OF TRAINS FOR BRIDGE MAINTENANCE WORK IN EAST CENTRAL RAILWAY

Kolkata, May 10, 2022:

 

For maintenance of bridge no 1 in between Samastipur & Muktapur stations, 06.00 hours (09:45 hrs. to 14.45 hrs.) Traffic & Power block has been planned o­n 14.05.2022 (Saturday) & 17.05.2022 (Tuesday). Consequently, 13043 Howrah - Raxaul Express (Journey Commencing o­n 13.05.2022) & 17005 Hyderabad Decan - Raxaul Express (Journey Commencing o­n 12.05.2022) will be diverted via Samastipur - Muzaffarpur - Sitamarhi instead of Samastipur - Darbhanga - Sitamarhi and 15553 Bhagalpur- Jaynagar Express (Journey Commencing o­n 14.05.2022) will be rescheduled by 120 minutes from Bhagalpur.

Inconvenience caused to the passengers is deeply regretted.

ADDITIONAL STOPPAGE PROVIDED TO FEW WESTERN RAILWAY TRAINS o­n TEMPORARY BASIS

For the convenience of passengers, additional stoppage has been provided at various stations o­n experimental basis for a period of six months.

According to a press release issued by Shri Sumit Thakur – Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, the details of these trains and halts are as under:

1.Train No. 19037/19038 Bandra Terminus – Barauni Avadh Express will be provided halt at Ramganj Mandi station w.e.f journey commencing o­n 12th February, 2022 till 10th August, 2022.

2.Train No. 19019/19020 Bandra Terminus – Haridwar Express will be provided halt at Morak and Dara stations w.e.f journey commencing o­n 12th February, 2022 till 10th August, 2022 and halt at Keshorai Patan and Kapren stations w.e.f journey commencing o­n 13thFebruary, 2022 till 11th August, 2022.

For detailed information regarding halts & timings of halts, passengers may please visit  www.enquiry.indianrail.gov.in. Passengers are requested by Western Railway, to adhere to all norms, SOPs related to COVID-19 during boarding, travelling and at the destination.
