Ø Part of Mahbubnagar - Munirabad New Line Project Ø Entire project of SCR portion is completed with the completion of the final stretch Ø Trains can now be operated via Mahabubnagar, Krishna towards South Direction and Vice-Versa The New Broad Gauge Non- Electrified Main line between Krishna –Maganoor stations for a distance of 12.7 Kms has been completed and commissioned as part of Mahabubnagar - Munirabad new line project. This important stretch is border belt of Telangana & Karnataka States. The section between Mahabubnagar - Devarkadra is already existing line in Secunderabad - Kurnool Section and the new line takes off from Devarkadra. With the completion of the final stretch between Maganoor - Krishna, the entire SCR portion of Mahabubnagar - Munirabad New line project i.e., Devarkadra - Krishna for a distance of 66 Kms is completed and commissioned. Mahabubnagar - Munirabad New Line project for 243.5 Kms is sanctioned with latest estimated cost of Rs 3543 Crores. The section between Devarkadra - Krishna for a distance of 66 Kms is executed by South Central Railway at a revised estimated cost of Rs 943 Crore. The section between Devarkadra - Jaklair for 28.3 Kms is completed in March 2017, the section between Jaklair - Makthal for 11.5 Kms in August 2020 and the stretch between Makthal - Maganoor for 13.3 Kms is completed in March 2022. Now the final stretch between Maganoor - Krishna for 12.7 Kms is completed and with this, the entire SCR portion is completed. The section between Devarkadra and Krishna will now become the most accessible route to many important cities of Southern States like Raichur, Guntakal, Bellary, Hubli, Goa from Hyderabad. Iron ore and other bulk commodities such as Cement, Steel etc., which are now being moved in other routes can now be transported this alternate route. The project will help in expanding rail network between Hyderabad and Mining belt of Karnataka, benefitting both the Passenger and goods traffic. Shri Arun Kumar Jain, General Manager, South Central Railway has congratulated all the team of Officials and staff of Construction department and Hyderabad Division in completion of this vital project of Telangana region. He opined that completion of this project has paved way for connecting new areas and helps in introduction of more number of passenger trains along with operation of freight trains. 2

दकà¥à¤·à¤¿à¤£ पशà¥à¤šà¤¿à¤® रेलवे / SOUTH WESTERN RAILWAY RUNNING OF SPECIAL TRAINS For the convenience of commuters and to clear the extra rush during the upcoming Christmas festival and New Year, South Western Railway has decided run special trains on demand with special fare as detailed below:- I.Train No. 06505 Yesvantpur – Vasco Da Gama one-way Express Special. Accordingly, this train will depart from Yesvantpur at 06:15 PM on 23rd December 2022 to reach Vasco Da Gama at 9 AM on the next day. En route, the train will have stoppages at Tumakuru, Arsikere, Birur, Davangere, Harihar, Haveri, SSS Hubballi, Dharwad, Londa, Castle Rock, Kulem and Madgaon stations. The train will have a composition of 1-AC Two Tier Coach, 2-AC Three Tier Coaches, 9- Sleeper Coaches, 5-General Sitting Coaches, 2-Second Class cum Luggage & Brake Vans. II.Train No. 06211/06212 Mysuru – Kochuveli - Mysuru Express Special (2 trips). 1.Train No. 06211 Mysuru – Kochuveli Express Special will depart from Mysuru at 11:30 PM on December 23 & 25, 2022 and arrive at Kochuveli at 07:20 PM on the next day. 2.In the return direction, Train No. 06212 Kochuveli – Mysuru Express Special will depart from Kochuveli at 10 PM on December 24 & 26, 2022 and arrive at Mysuru at 04:45 PM on the next day. En route, the train will have stoppages at Mandya, Kengeri, KSR Bengaluru, Bengaluru Cantonment, Hosur, Dharmapuri, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Palghat, Thrissur, Aluva, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Chenganaseri, Tiruvalla, Chengannur, Mavelikara, Kayankulam and Kollam stations in both directions. These trains will have a composition of 17 Coaches comprising of 4 - AC Two tier coaches, 11 – AC Three tier Coaches and 2 – Luggage cum brake vans with Generator cars. III.Train No. 06221/06222 Mysuru – Kannur - Mysuru Express special (2 trips). 1.Train No. 06221 Mysuru – Kannur Express Special will depart from Mysuru at 11:30 PM on 30.12.2022 and 01.01.2023 and arrive at Kannur at 05:15 PM on the next day. 2.In the return direction, Train No. 06222 Kannur – Mysuru Express Special will depart from Kannur at 08:55 PM on 31.12.2022 & 02.01.2023 and arrive at Mysuru at 02:30 PM on the next day. En route, the train will have stoppages at Mandya, Kengeri, KSR Bengaluru, Bengaluru Cantonment, Hosur, Dharmapuri, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Palghat, Ottapalam, Shoranur, Tirur, Kozhikode, Vadakara & Tellicherry stations in both directions. These trains will have a composition of 17 Coaches comprising of 4 - AC Two tier coaches, 11 – AC Three tier Coaches and 2 – Luggage cum brake vans with Generator cars. IV.Train No. 07687/07688 Narasapur – Yesvantpur - Narasapur Express Special (1 trip). 1.Train No.07687 Narasapur – Yesvantpur Special Express will depart from Narasapur at 03:10 PM on December 25, 2022 to reach Yesvantpur at 10:50 AM on the next day. 2.In the return direction, Train No.07688 Yesvantpur – Narasapur Express Special will depart from Yesvantpur at 03:50 PM on December 26, 2022 to reach Narasapur at 08:30 AM on the next day. En route, the train will have stoppages at Palakollu, Bhimavaram Town, Akividu, Kaikaluru, Gudiwada, Vijayawada, Guntur, Narasaraopet, Donakonda, Markapur Road, Giddallur, Nandyal, Dhone, Anantapur, Dharmavaram,Penukonda, Hindupur and Yelahanka stations in both directions.
