In order to clear Extra rush of passengers during Nagore Festival, Special Fare Special Trains will be run in Tambaram – Karaikal Sector as detailed below: Train No.06045/06046 Tambaram – Karaikal – Tambaram Special Fare Specials: Train No. 06045 Tambaram – Karaikal Special Fare Special will leave Tambaram at 08.15 hrs on 21st June, 2023 (Wednesday) and reach Karaikal at 15.50 hrs, the same day (1 Service) In return direction Train No. 06046 Karaikal – Tambaram Special Fare special will leave Karaikal at 06.00 hrs on 22nd June, 2023 (Thursday) and reach Tambaram at 13.30 hrs, the same day (1 Service) Coach Composition: 03 – Sleeper Class Coaches, 08- Second Class Coaches, 2- Chair Cars, 1- Second Class Divyangjan Friendly & 1- Luggage cum Brake Van The details of timings and stoppages of Train No.06045/06046 Tambaram – Karaikal – Tambaram Special Fare Specials are as follows (Timings in hours):

Consequent to the Bahanaga Bazar Train accident on 02nd June 2023 the train traffic was restored in the section by midnight of 04th June 2023.
