Shri Gajanan Mallya, General Manager, South Central Railway undertook the annual inspection between Parli – Mudkhed section of Nanded today i.e., 01st November, 2021. He was accompanied by Shri Upinder Singh, Divisional Railway Manager, Nanded Division and other senior officials (from both the Headquarters and Division) throughout the inspection.

Shri Gajanan Mallya commenced the inspection at Parli and first inspected the level Crossing Gate situated between Ukhali and Vadgaon Nila. Therein, he interacted with the staff deployed and inspected the safety aspects duly checking the safety registers & equipment's at Level Crossing gate. Later, the General Manager proceeded o­nto Gangakher Railway station, wherein he reviewed the passenger amenities available the station. He visited the staff quarters and interacted with the family members of the employees. The General Manager also inaugurated a Children’s park at Gangakher and planted sapling to promote green environment.

During the inspection, Shri Ratnakar Gutte, Member of Legislative Assembly, Maharashtra met Shri Gajanan Mallya, GM and discussed o­n Rail developmental plans pertaining to his region. Later, the General Manager inspected several major and minor bridges in Gangakher – Parbhani section. He also examined the safety aspects of Road Under Bridge in the section and interacted with the staff.

Further, Shri Gajanan Mallya visited Parbhani Railway station. He inspected the passenger amenities, station manager's office and circulating area. He conducted a detailed inspection of the goods shed at Parbhani and discussed o­n the overall improvement of facilities with the concerned officials. The General Manager also inaugurated at 10KWP o­n Grid Solar Plant at Parbhani. At Purna, Shri Gajanan Mallya conducted a detailed inspection of the Railway station. He reviewed the facilities available at the Crew Lobby, Running Room and interacted with the staff. He inspected the Health Unit and interacted with the Doctors. Enroute, he also inspected the safety aspects of track in the Purna – Nanded section.

At Nanded, Shri Gajanan Mallya conducted a detailed inspection of the station premises including the passenger amenities available at the station. He inspected the crew lobby, watering point and interacted with the staff. The General Manager also visited the Health Unit at Nanded and reviewed the facilities available, while interacting with the Doctors and staff. The General Manager inaugurated a combined crew running room at Nanded. He also inspected several Major and Minor Bridges in Nanded- Mudkhed section.

Later, General Manager proceeded to Mudkhed Railway station. He inspected the station premises and interacted with the track maintenance staff. He inaugurated an Executive Room, Supervisor’s Rest Room and Gang Tool Room at Mudkhed. He also visited the staff quarters and reviewed the facilities provided to them. During the course of inspection, the General Manager interacted with the media and briefed them o­n plans for improvement of Rail facilities. Several public representatives also met the General Manager and discussed o­n Rail developmental plans pertaining to their region.
