Enroute, this train will stop at Kazipet, Peddapalli, Mancherial, Sirpur Kagaznagar, Balarshah, Gondia, Durg, Raipur, Bilaspur, Jharsuguda, Raurkela, Hatia, Ranchi, Muri, Bokaro Steel city, Chandrapura, Dhanbad, Kumardubi, Chittaranjan, Madhupur, Jasidih, Jhajha, and Kiul stations.

These trains consist of Sleeper and General Second Class Coaches.

Press Release:NEW ROB INAUGURATED AT KUMARDUBI



Kolkata, April 1, 2023
Shri Champai Soren, Minister-in-Charge, Transport, Scheduled Tribe,Scheduled Caste, Minority and Backward class Welfare Department, Government of Jharkhand and  Shri Pashupati Nath Singh, Hon’ble Member of Parliament jointly inaugurated newly constructed Road Over Bridge at Kumardubi in the august presence of Smt. Aparna Sengputa, Hon’ble MLA and Shri Permanand Sharma, Divisional Railway Manager/Asansol .Other Dignitaries and  Senior  Officers of the Division were also present in the inaugural programme. 

Speaking o­n the occasion, Shri Champai Soren, Minister-in-Charge, Transport, Scheduled Tribe,Scheduled Caste, Minority and Backward class Welfare Department, Government of Jharkhand said that opening of this newly constructed Road Over Bridge at Kumardubi will facilitate movement of road vehicles with larger dimension thereby lead to reduction in travel time & fuel consumption. He also mentioned that this bridge will augment more safety and the speed of trains will also increase simultaneously. It will thus contribute towards economic development of Jharkhand in general and the Kumardubi area in particular. Shri Soren, Hon'ble Minister of Jharkhand said that this ROB will fulfil a long standing demand of the people of the adjoining area. 

Shri Pashupati Nath Singh, Hon’ble MP during his speech added that opening of this newly constructed Road Over Bridge at Kumardubi will facilitate safe & faster connectivity  with smooth & congestion free movement for all types of road vehicle and users.  

Smt. Aparna Sengupta, Hon’ble MLA also delivered her valuable speech o­n this occasion.

This Road Over Bridge has been constructed o­n Old G.T Road now classified as a Major District Road (MDR) in Jharkhand o­n 50-50 cost sharing basis with Government of Jharkhand. The
826.551 metre long bridge constructed at a cost of ₹45.96Cr.
