CHANGE IN PATTERN OF TRAIN SERVICES

The following trains will be partially cancelled, diverted, rescheduled and regulated due to line block & power block for 420 minutes for insertion of girder o­n line no.3 at Bengaluru yard, as detailed below: -

PARTIAL CANCELLATION OF TRAINS:

1.Train No. 16220 Tirupati – Chamarajanagar Daily Express, leaving from Tirupati o­n April 25, 2023 will be partially cancelled between Whitfield – Chamarajanagar and it will short terminate at Whitefield.

2.Train No. 16594 Nanded – KSR Bengaluru Daily Express, leaving from Nanded o­n April 25, 2023 will be partially cancelled between Yelahanka – KSR Bengaluru and it will short terminate at Yelahanka.

3.Train No. 06532 Devanahalli – KSR Bengaluru MEMU Express Special, leaving from Devanahalli o­n April 25, 2023 will be partially cancelled between Bengaluru Cant – KSR Bengaluru and it will short terminate at Bengaluru Cantonment.

4.Train No. 06531 KSR Bengaluru – Devanahalli MEMU Express Special, leaving from KSR Bengaluru o­n April 26, 2023 will be partially cancelled between KSR Bengaluru – Bengaluru Cantonment and it will originate from Bengaluru Cantonment instead of KSR Bengaluru at its scheduled time.

5.Train No. 12678 Ernakulam – KSR Bengaluru Daily Superfast Express, leaving from Ernakulam o­n April 25, 2023 will be partially cancelled between Baiyyappanahalli – KSR Bengaluru, it will terminate at Baiyyappanahalli and diverted to Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru, eliminating stoppage at Bengaluru Cantonment.

6.Train No. 12677 KSR Bengaluru – Ernakulam Daily Superfast Express, leaving from KSR Bengaluru o­n April 26, 2023 will be partially cancelled between KSR Bengaluru – Baiyyappanahalli and it will originate from Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru at 06:10 a.m., eliminating the stoppage at Bengaluru Cantonment.

7.Train No. 01772 Marikuppam – KSR Bengaluru MEMU Special, leaving from Marikuppam o­n April 26, 2023 will be partially cancelled between Bengaluru Cantonment – KSR Bengaluru and it will short terminate at Bengaluru Cantonment.

8.Train No. 06396 KSR Bengaluru – Marikuppam MEMU Special, leaving from KSR Bengaluru o­n April 26, 2023, will be partially cancelled between KSR Bengaluru – Bengaluru Cantonment and it will originate from Bengaluru Cantonment at its schedule departure time.

DIVERSION OF TRAINS:

1.Train No. 16022 Mysuru – MGR Chennai Central Kaveri Daily Express, leaving from Mysuru o­n April 25, 2023 will be diverted to run via KSR Bengaluru, Yesvantpur, Banaswadi, Baiyyappanahalli & Krishnarajapuram, skipping stoppage at Bengaluru Cantonment.

2.Train No. 16021 MGR Chennai Central – Mysuru Kaveri Daily Express, leaving from MGR Chennai Central o­n April 25, 2023, will be diverted to run via Krishnarajapuram, Baiyyappanahalli, Banaswadi, Yesvantpur & KSR Bengaluru, skipping stoppages at Bengaluru East & Bengaluru Cantonment.

3.Train No. 16593 KSR Bengaluru – Nanded Daily Express, leaving from KSR Bengaluru o­n April 25, 2023 will be diverted to run via KSR Bengaluru, Yesvantpur, Lottegollahalli & Yelahanka, skipping stoppage at Bengaluru Cantonment.

4.Train No. 06270 Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru – Mysuru Express Special, leaving from SMVT Bengaluru o­n April 25, 2023 will be diverted to run via SMVT Bengaluru, Banaswadi, Hebbal, Yesvantpur & KSR Bengaluru, skipping stoppage at Bengaluru Cantonment.

5.Train No. 06269 Mysuru – Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru Daily Express Special, leaving from Mysuru o­n April 25, 2023 will be diverted to run via KSR Bengaluru, Yesvantpur, Hebbal, Banaswadi & SMVT Bengaluru, skipping stoppage at Bengaluru Cantonment.

6.Train No. 16521 Bangarapet – KSR Bengaluru MEMU Express Special, leaving from Bangarapet o­n April 25, 2023 will be diverted to run via Krishnarajapuram, Baiyyappanahalli, Banaswadi, Hebbal, Yesvantpur & KSR Bengaluru, skipping stoppages at Bengaluru East & Bengaluru Cantonment.

RESCHEDULING OF TRAINS:

1.Train No. 16593 KSR Bengaluru – Nanded Daily Express, leaving from KSR Bengaluru o­n April 25, 2023 will be rescheduled by 85 minutes.

2.Train No. 16231 Mayiladuturai – Mysuru Daily Express, leaving from Mayiladuturai o­n April 25, 2023 will be rescheduled by 90 minutes.

REGULATION OF TRAINS:

1.Train No. 11301 Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus - KSR Bengaluru, leaving from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus o­n April 25, 2023, will be regulated for 15 minutes enroute.

2.Train No. 12657 MGR Chennai Central – KSR Bengaluru Express, leaving from MGR Chennai Central o­n April 25, 2023 will be regulated for 120 minutes enroute.

SWR RAILWAY PROTECTION TEAM BUSTED A GANG INVOLVED IN THEFTS OF BATTERIES FROM RAILWAY COACHES

Sleuths of Railway Protection force of Bengaluru Division today nabbed 6 members of a gang who were involved in theft of Batteries from Railway coaches stabled at Golahalli station.  Based o­n the complaint lodged by the Electrical Branch of SWR/Bengaluru Division that batteries of AC coaches had gone missing o­n 02.07.2020, the RPF Sleuths started investigation.RPF team was o­n the lookout for a gang, who was stealing Railway property around Yesvantpur.

A team of RPF personnel headed by Sri. A.K.Tiwari, IPF/YPR and Sri R.D.Samudre, CI/CIB were o­n the lookout for this gang of thieves.  With sustained efforts& raids with inputs from local intelligence network, two members of the Gang were arrested from Islampur.  The third accused was nabbed o­n 9.7.2020 from Golahalli.  For further investigation, members of the gang were taken into custody for 6 days from Hon’ble Special Economic Offence Court Bengaluru and o­n interrogation, further leads were obtained.  Based o­n the leads given by the arrested, 2 more of the gang members who had fled to Tumakuru were arrested at Islampur o­n 14.07.2020.

Further o­n source information, the special task force raided the premises of  o­ne of the Gang members who received the Batteries at Mawalli area Lalbagh and 15 Railway Batteries stolen from Golahalli Railway Station bearing Railway Mark were retrieved. The 6th member of the gang was arrested and produced to Hon’ble Court through video conference. The Sleuths recovered batteries belonging to Railway worth Rs 2.76 lakhs.

Shri A. K. Singh, GM/SWR congratulated the RPF team at Bengaluru Division for their timely recovery of the stolen property and lauded their dedication in preserving and protecting Railway property from thefts and miscreants.
