WESTERN RAILWAY TO RUN SUMMER SPECIAL TRAIN o­n SPECIAL FARE BETWEEN UDHNA - BHAGAT KI KOTHI & BANDRA TERMINUS - GORAKHPUR

For the convenience of passengers and with a view to meet the travel demand, Western Railway has decided to run summer special train o­n Special fare between Udhna - Bhagat Ki Kothi and between Bandra Terminus - Gorakhpur.

According to a press release issued by Shri Sumit Thakur – Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, the details of the train are as under:

1.Train No. 04814/04813 Udhna – Bhagat Ki Kothi Superfast Special [8 TRIPS]

Train No. 04814 Udhna – Bhagat Ki Kothi Special will depart from Udhna every Sunday at 05.50 hrs. & will reach Bhagat Ki Kothi at 18.00 hrs. the same day. This train will run from 11^th June, 2023 to 02^nd July, 2023. Similarly, Train No. 04813 Bhagat Ki Kothi – Udhna Superfast Special will depart from Bhagat Ki Kothi every Saturday at 16.00 hrs. & will reach Udhna at 04.00 hrs. the next day. This train will run from 10^th June, 2023 to 01^st July, 2023.

Enroute this train will halt at Bharuch, Vadodara, Anand, Ahmedabad, Sabarmati, Mahesana, Palanpur, Abu Road, Falna, Marwar, Pali Marwar and Luni stations in both directions. This train comprises of AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class and General Second-Class Coaches.

2.Train No. 05054/05053 Bandra Terminus - Gorakhpur Special [2 Trips]

Train No. 05054 Bandra Terminus – Gorakhpur Special will depart from Bandra Terminus o­n Saturday, 10^th June, 2023 at 22.45 and reach Gorakhpur at 06.25 hrs o­n Monday. Similarly, Train No. 05053 will depart from Gorakhpur o­n Friday, 9^th June, 2023 at 09.30 hrs and arrive Bandra Terminus at 16.00 hrs, the next day. 

 Enroute this train will halt at Borivali, Vapi, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Kota, Gangapur City, Agra fort, Tundla, Kanpur Central, Aishbag, Badshah Nagar, Gonda, Basti and  Khalilabad stations in both directions.

This train comprises General Second Class coaches.

The booking for Train No. 04814 will open from 09.06.2023 at all PRS Counters and o­n IRCTC website. The above trains will run as special train o­n special fare. For detailed information regarding timings of halts and composition, passengers may please visit www.enquiry.indianrail.gov.in.

Sir Ashley Biggs Institute is o­ne of the oldest Railway Institutes of Chennai. Traditionally, the Senior Divisional Personnel Officer of Chennai Division is the Chairman and Secretary of Sir Ashley Biggs Institute.

The Ashley Biggs Institute Cricket Team participates in the league matches of TNCA (Tamil Nadu Cricket Association) as a member club of TNCA. During the current year (2023) the team has played for the P.Annadurai Shield under TNCA “A” Zone and won Nine matches out of the total eleven matches and moved to the IV Division from V Division.

The members of this Ashley Biggs Cricket Team were felicitated by the Patron of SRSA (Southern Railway Sports Association) and General Manager of Southern Railway, Shri R.N.Singh today (29^th May 2023) in the presence of Office bearers of SRSA (Southern Railway Sports Association) Shri P.Mahesh, President, SRSA and SDGM & CVO/S Rly, Shri T.Sivakumar, Secretary, SRSA and CPTM/S Rly,       Shri Ganesh, Patron of Sir Ashley Biggs Institute and DRM, Chennai Division and Shri B.Aravind, Chairman and Secretary of Sir Ashley Biggs Institute and Sr DPO, Chennai Division.

Along with the Ashley Biggs Cricket Team, Shri N.Kanniah, General Secretary of Southern Railway Mazdoor Union and Other Office bearers were also present during the occasion.
