Jhansi division improved it's previous best record of 107 rakes loading in December 2019, October 2020 and November 2020 by loading 108th rake in the month of June, today.

Record loading in fly ashachieved too

Jhansi Division of North Central Railway is achieving new heights in loading despite Covid-19 pandemic.In the month of June 2021, Jhansi division registered the record loading of fly ash. By now 11 rakes have already been loaded in the month of June which have led to the revenue of Rs.1,92,73,585 /-Previous best performance in fly ash loading during any month was 5 rakes by the Division in December 2020.

Even after achieving highest ever Fly ash loading in any month, several rake loading orders are in pipeline.

The Division is also setting records in petroleum loading as well.

A record 108 rakes have already been loaded from HPTR Siding (RasulpurGogamau) in the month of June so far and Railways has earnedthe revenue of Rs. 352009759/-. Previous best performance of any month was 107 rakes, which was achieved in December 2019, October 2020 and November 2020.

All due COVID protocols are strictly being followed at all loading and unloading points,. It is also being followed that the doors of wagons of freight train originating from loading and unloading points of North Central Railway are properly closed.

The commendable efforts made by the Jhansi Division of North Central Railway are getting reflected in these figures. Efforts of administration and rigorous marketing strategy followed by NCR Business Development Units are resulting in attracting more and more incremental loading by freight customers.

Loading of fly ash is a shining example of the untapped potential captured through aggressive marketing. It's a win win situation both for Railways, Power plants as well as cement loading plants where fly ash are being despatched.

Freight Customers Meet held at NCR Headquarter

A freight marketing meeting with valued freight customers of North Central Railway was held at NCR headquarter office. The meeting was presided over by Rajiv Chaudhry, General Manager, North Central Railway. While addressing the meeting Shri Chaudhry said that the freight earning is the principal contributor to Indian railways earning and he emphasized o­n the need to increase the rail co-efficient in freight loading and desired to have a single window system for customers. He thanked the freight customers for their support during the last year 2018-19. He desired that the unloading should be streamlined and there should not be late release of rakes. Shri Rajiv Chaudhry directed to maintain all safety norms and said all the doors of wagons should be properly closed and suggested the customers to use good quality cover for goods. He also emphasized o­n the need to run the time tabled freight trains to infuse confidence in loaders that there goods will reach the destination in time.

While addressing the meeting Shri Ravi ValluriPrincipal Chief Operations manager said, any issues about the detention of rake should be promptly resolved. He also said that the proper mobility of trains be ensured. He applauded the efforts of staff by mentioning that, not o­nly we have transacted 515-520 rakes daily, which is phenomenal but also clocked the best ever average speed of 103 KMPH for Vande Bharat Express. He also said that the expectations of our customers and the railway board is very high and we should strive hard to fulfill it.

Shri M N Ojha Principal Chief Commercial Manager, during his address informed that NCR has registered the best ever originating incremental earning, which is also the best among all zonal railways. He congratulated the staff and customers for their efforts towards achieving this feet. Shri Ojha emphasized o­n the need to enhance the e-payment for freight. He also directed the divisional officers and staff to maintain a close liaison with customers and solve the issues pertaining to them. Shri Ojha directed the officers to work aggressively to improve upon the 1st quarter performance in freight loading.

The representatives of Freight Customers present in the meeting M/sIOC/Baad.,M/s HPCL, RasulpurGogamau,M/s MJAC, Chunar,M/s DCPG Paricha,M/s UTCL Chunar,M/s CONCOR, Noida/Kanpur, M/s KLPL Panki, M/s ARIL Khurja, M/s KFCL Panki, M/s PCI Gwalior etc. Shri Arun Malik, AGM NCR, all Principal Heads of departments also addressed the meeting. A detailed powerpoint presentation was also made during the meeting to apprise the freight customers about the policies, rules, regulations and the expectations of IR.

Shri P K Ojha, CFTM, ShriD K Verma, CTPM, Smt Anu Mani tripathi and all the officers handling freight issues from Headquarter and three divisions of NCR were present o­n the Occasion. Shri S K Shukla Dy CCM/FM presented the vote of thanks.
