CANCELLATION OF o­nE PAIR SEALDAH – BUDGE BUDGE LOCAL FOR FOUR DAYS


Kolkata, May 20, 2023


In connection with Joka - Esplanade Metro Railway project, 04.00 hours (From 00:30 hrs. to 04:30 hrs.) Traffic & Power Block has been planned o­n the night of 22/23.05.2022 (Monday/Tuesday), 23/24.05.2022 (Tuesday/ Wednesday), 06/07.06.2023 (Tuesday/Wednesday), 18/19.06.2023 (Sunday/Monday) at Majerhat Station. Consequently, 34112 Sealdah - Budge Budge Local and 34111 Budge Budge - Sealdah Local will remain cancelled o­n 23.05.23 (Tuesday), 24.05.23 (Wednesday), 07.06.23 (Wednesday) and 19.06.23 (Monday).

Inconvenience to be caused to the passengers is deeply regretted.

Press Release:REGULATION OF TRAINS FOR BRIDGE MAINTENANCE WORK IN SEALDAH DIVISION


Kolkata, March 02, 2023:

For maintenance work of Bridge No. B/8 in between Tollygunge and New Alipore stations, 14½ hours (from 21:00 hrs to 11:30 hrs) traffic and power block has been planned   in Ballygunge – Budge Budge section of Sealdah Division o­n 04/05.03.2023 (Saturday/Sunday). Consequently, following arrangements in train running have been made :-

Cancellation of EMU locals
On 04.03.2023 (Saturday):
Sealdah – Budge Budge : DOWN 34160, 34164/ UP 34159, 34163

On 05.03.2023 (Sunday):
Sealdah – Budge Budge : DOWN 34112, 34116, 34122, 34126/ UP 34111, 34115, 34117, 34121, 34125.
Naihati – Sealdah : DOWN 31422.
Sealdah – BBD Bag : DOWN 30412/ UP 30411.

Short termination/ short origination :
•UP 34157, 34161 (Budge Budge – Sealdah Local) will be short terminated at New Alipore and DOWN 34162, 34166 (Sealdah – Budge Budge) will be short originated from New Alipore instead of Sealdah (South) o­n 04.03.2023.
•UP 34113, 34119, 34123 (Budge Budge – Sealdah Local) will be short terminated at New Alipore and DOWN 34118, 34124, 34130 (Sealdah – Budge Budge) will be short originated from New Alipore instead of Sealdah (South) o­n 05.03.2023.
•UP 34165 (Budge Budge – Sealdah Local) will be short terminated at Majerhat o­n 04.03.2023 and DOWN 34114 (Sealdah – Budge Budge) will be short originated from Majerhat instead of Sealdah (South) o­n 05.03.2023.
•UP 31051 (Budge Budge – Naihati Local) will be short terminated at New Alipore and DOWN 34120 (Sealdah – Budge Budge) will be short originated from New Alipore instead of Sealdah (South) o­n 05.03.2023.

Diversion o­n 05.03.2023 (Sunday):
•DOWN 34052 (Naihati – Budge Budge Local) will be diverted to Sealdah instead of Budge Budge.
•DOWN 30342 (Bangaon – Majerhat Local) will be diverted from Dum Dum Jn. to Ballygunge via Kankurgachi down chord line.
•DOWN 30712 (Majerhat – Lakshmikantapur Local) will be short originated from Ballygunge instead of Majerhat.
•UP 30357 (Majerhat – Madhyamgram Local) will be diverted via Circular Railway line towards Dum Dum Jn. instead of Ballygunge and Kankurgachi.
