Press Release:REGULATION OF TRAINS FOR BRIDGE MAINTENANCE WORK IN SEALDAH DIVISION


Kolkata, March 02, 2023:

For maintenance work of Bridge No. B/8 in between Tollygunge and New Alipore stations, 14½ hours (from 21:00 hrs to 11:30 hrs) traffic and power block has been planned   in Ballygunge – Budge Budge section of Sealdah Division o­n 04/05.03.2023 (Saturday/Sunday). Consequently, following arrangements in train running have been made :-

Cancellation of EMU locals
On 04.03.2023 (Saturday):
Sealdah – Budge Budge : DOWN 34160, 34164/ UP 34159, 34163

On 05.03.2023 (Sunday):
Sealdah – Budge Budge : DOWN 34112, 34116, 34122, 34126/ UP 34111, 34115, 34117, 34121, 34125.
Naihati – Sealdah : DOWN 31422.
Sealdah – BBD Bag : DOWN 30412/ UP 30411.

Short termination/ short origination :
•UP 34157, 34161 (Budge Budge – Sealdah Local) will be short terminated at New Alipore and DOWN 34162, 34166 (Sealdah – Budge Budge) will be short originated from New Alipore instead of Sealdah (South) o­n 04.03.2023.
•UP 34113, 34119, 34123 (Budge Budge – Sealdah Local) will be short terminated at New Alipore and DOWN 34118, 34124, 34130 (Sealdah – Budge Budge) will be short originated from New Alipore instead of Sealdah (South) o­n 05.03.2023.
•UP 34165 (Budge Budge – Sealdah Local) will be short terminated at Majerhat o­n 04.03.2023 and DOWN 34114 (Sealdah – Budge Budge) will be short originated from Majerhat instead of Sealdah (South) o­n 05.03.2023.
•UP 31051 (Budge Budge – Naihati Local) will be short terminated at New Alipore and DOWN 34120 (Sealdah – Budge Budge) will be short originated from New Alipore instead of Sealdah (South) o­n 05.03.2023.

Diversion o­n 05.03.2023 (Sunday):
•DOWN 34052 (Naihati – Budge Budge Local) will be diverted to Sealdah instead of Budge Budge.
•DOWN 30342 (Bangaon – Majerhat Local) will be diverted from Dum Dum Jn. to Ballygunge via Kankurgachi down chord line.
•DOWN 30712 (Majerhat – Lakshmikantapur Local) will be short originated from Ballygunge instead of Majerhat.
•UP 30357 (Majerhat – Madhyamgram Local) will be diverted via Circular Railway line towards Dum Dum Jn. instead of Ballygunge and Kankurgachi.

Inconvenience to be caused to the passengers is deeply regretted.

REGULATION OF TRAINS IN SEALDAH DIVISION (SOUTH SECTION)

Kolkata, January 20, 2023:

  For dismantling of old Foot Over Bridge at Mathurapur Road station, 7 hours’ (from 23:30 hrs. of 22.01.2023 to 06:30 hrs. of 23.01.2023) traffic and power block has been planned o­n UP & DN line simultaneously in Ballyganj – Namkhana section. Consequently, the following arrangements in train running have been made :-

Cancellation of EMU trains:
on 22.01.2023
DN 34752 Sealdah – Lakshmikantapur Local
on 23.01.2023:
DN 34714 Sealdah – Lakshmikantapur Local
UP 34713, 34715, 34717 Lakshmikantapur – Sealdah Local

Short termination/ Short origination:
DN 34754 Sealdah – Lakshmikantapur Local will be short terminated at Baruipur o­n 22.01.2023 and 34711 Lakshmikantapur - Sealdah Local will be short originated from Baruipur o­n 23.01.2023.
DN 34712 Sealdah - Lakshmikantapur Local will be short terminated at Dakshin Barasat and 34791 Lakshmikantapur - Sealdah Local will be short originated from Dakshin Barasat o­n 23.01.2023.

Moreover, 34719 Lakshmikantapur - Sealdah Local will leave Lakshmikantapur at 06:30 hrs. instead of its scheduled departure at 05:44 hrs. and 34721 Lakshmikantapur - Sealdah Local will leave Lakshmikantapur at 06:45 hrs. instead of its scheduled departure at 06:30 hrs. o­n 23.01.2023.

It is also to mention that, in Baruipur – Lakshmikantapur section, out of total 58 EMU locals, o­nly 5 EMU locals will remain cancelled and o­nly 2 EMU locals will be short terminated and 2 EMU locals will be short originated.

Inconvenience to be caused to the passengers is deeply regretted.
