RPF/ER RESCUES INJURED PERSONS & SENT THEM TO HOSPITAL FOR TREATMENT

Kolkata, February 19, 2022

1)On 16.02.2022, acting o­n information regarding o­ne unknown male person, aged about 45 years, fallen down and injured from 34052 Naihati- Budge Budge Local near Brace Bridge Railway Station, Officer & staff of RPF Post/Budge Budge and GRP/Ballygunge attended, rendered assistance and shifted him to ESI Hospital Budge Budge for treatment. 

2)On 16.02.2022, acting o­n information of Security Control Room/Sealdah, officials of RPF and GRP/Ballygunge have rescued an injured male person near Park Circus Railway Station. He was knockdown by unknown train while trespassing the Railway track. Necessary assistance was rendered and he was shifted to Chittaranjan Hospital/Kolkata for treatment.

3)On 16.02.2022, acting o­n source information, officer & staff of RPF Post/Katwa has recovered 13 unclaimed plastic packets containing 278 bottles country liquor valued Rs. 14,456/- from 37914 DN Katwa - Bandel Local at Bansberia Railway Station. The recovered liquor was handed over to Excise Department/Magra circle after due documentation for next course of action.

4)On 15.02.2022, acting o­n information of Security Control Room/Asansol, officers & staff of RPF Post/Jamtara has recovered a left behind bag containing new garments worth Rs. 20,000/- from coach No. C-2 of 12023 UP Patna Jan Shatabdi Express at Jamtara Railway Station. These were handed over to its owner after proper verification and documentation.

5)On 14.02.2022, acting o­n information from a passenger, officials of RPF Post/Tarakeswar has recovered o­ne bag containing liquid cash of Rs. 73,878/-. from 37398 DN at Tarakeswar Railway Station and secured to RPF Post. o­n 15.02.2022, the recovered bag with cash was handed over to its owner after proper verification and documentation.

 Kolkata, July 14, 2021

 1)On 12.7.2021, acting o­n a tip-off, officers & staff of RPF Post/Pakur arrested a tout at PRS counter of Pakur Railway station and recovered two Railway tickets valued Rs.3150/- and cash of Rs.100/- and other incriminating articles from his possession.

 2)On 12.7.2021, acting o­n a tip-off, officers & staff of RPF Post/Jamalpur arrested a tout from his shop and recovered six Railway tickets valued Rs.7427/- and 31 Railway old tickets valued Rs.17,599/- and other incriminating articles from his possession.

 3)On 12.7.2021, officers & staff of RPF Post/Tarakeswar rescued a teenaged girl from Tarakeswar Railway station premises. o­n query, it could be learnt that she fled her home due to family discord. Subsequently, she was handed over to child safe home, Konnagar under proper documentation.

 4)On 10.7.2021, o­n receipt of information, officers & staff of RPF Post/ Ballygunge rescued an unknown injured male person aged about 45 years from Ballygunge Railway station limits. It could be learnt that he was knocked down by unknown train and sustained injury while trespassing the Railway track. Necessary assistance was rendered and he was shifted to Chittaranjan Hospital, Kolkata for treatment.

 5)On 11.7.2021, o­n receipt of information, officers & staff of RPF Post/ Budge Budge & GRP/Ballygunge rescued an injured male person aged about 40 years near Brace Bridge Railway station. It could be learnt that he was knocked down by unknown train and sustained injury while trespassing the Railway track. Necessary assistance was rendered and he was shifted to S S K M Hospital, Kolkata for treatment.

 6)On 12.7.2021, o­n duty staff of RPF Post/Jamalpur apprehended a person from 05955 UP Kamakhya – Ranchi Brahmaputra Mail at Jamalpur Railway yard and recovered two bags containing 30 bottles of foreign liquors valued Rs.7800/- from his possession. The apprehended person together with the recovered liquor were handed over to the Excise Department, Monghyr for further course of action.
