As announced by Hon’ble Railway Minister in his last visit to Odisha for introduction of Puri-Nuagaon Road Passenger, East Coast Railway has decided to run Passenger Special Train as per the following…
08423/08424 Puri-Nuagaon Road-Puri Passenger Special will leave Puri at 1950hrs (07.50p.m.) w.e.f. 20th July, 2022 and from Nuagaon Road will leave at 0810hrs (08.10a.m.) w.e.f. 21st July, 2022.
This train has five Second Class Seating and Two Guard cum Luggage Vans in its composition having Stoppages at Malatipatapur, Janakideipur, Sakhigopal, Birpurusottampur, Jenapur PH, Delang, Kanas Road, Motari, Haripur Gram, Khurda Road, Khurda Town, Begunia, Rajsunakhala, Bolagarh Town, Bolagarh Road, Nayagarh Town and Mahipur between Puri and Nuagaon Road.
Consequent upon the introduction of Puri-Nuagaon Road Passenger Special, it has also been decided to revise the timings of 08429 Bhubaneswar-Nuagaon Road Passenger Special w.e.f. 21st July, 2022. This train will leave from Bhubaneswar at 1020hrs (10.20a.m.) instead of 0925hrs (09.25a.m.) and will arrive at Nuagaon Road at 1300hrs (01.00p.m.) instead of 1215hrs (12.15p.m.). Timings for this train at scheduled Stations have also been revised.
However, in the return direction, the timings of 08430 Nuagaon Road-Bhubaneswar Passenger Special will remain unchanged. 2

HON’BLE MINISTER OF RAILWAYS SHRI ASHWINI VAISHNAW TO VISIT ODISHA, TOMORROW: â— Will Inspect Khurda Road-Balangir Project and will open Mahipur-Naugaon Road Railway Section. â— Will Inaugurate Khurda Road New Station Building, New Building of Patia & Vani Vihar PH at Khurda Road Station and Inaugurate LHB Coach in Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Duronto Express from Khurda Road Station. â— Will inspect Khurda Road-Puri Railway Section and open various Amenities for Rath Yatra at Puri. Hon’ble Minister of Railways, Communications and Electronics & Information Technology, Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw Ji will visit Odisha oÂn 30th June, 2022. During his visit, Shri Vaishnaw will inspect various Railway Section and inaugurate/announce train services oÂn 30th June, 2022. Shri Vaishnaw will inspect Khurda Road-Balangir Project and will open Mahipur-Naugaon Road Railway Section at Nuagaon Road Station. He also Flag off the Extension of 08429/08430 Bhubaneswar-Mahipur- In the evening, Shri Vaishnaw will Inaugurate Khurda Road New Station Building and flag off of the LHB Services in Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Duronto Express from Khurda Road Station. Apart from this, Railway Minister will inaugurate New Building of Patia & Vani Vihar PH through video conferencing from Khurda Road Station. Hon’ble Union Minister of Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Shri Dharmendra Pradhan will also grace the occasion at Khurda Road Station. Hon’ble Member of Parliament (Loksabha) Shri Achyutananda Samanta, Hon’ble MLAs Shri Rajendra Kumar Sahoo & Shri Ramesh Chandra Behera will grace the occasion at Nuagaon Road Station. Hon’ble Member of Parliament (Loksabha) Smt. Aparajita Sarangi, Hon’ble MLAs Shri Suresh Kumar Routray & Susant Kumar Rout will grace the occasion at Khurda Road Station. Shri Vaishnaw will also inspect passenger facilities and open various public amenities for Rath Yatra at Puri Station in the late evening. This include, Special train for Rath Yatra pilgrims, Covered Shelter for 15000 pilgrims, Executive Lounge, Mobile Ticketing facilities, Battery operated cart facilities for elderly/differently abled person, Food Court and Free food for needy people.
