REGULATION OF CIRCULAR RAILWAY TRAINS FOR IMMERSION OF GODDESS KALI

Kolkata, 02^nd November 2021

To facilitate immersion of idols of Goddess Kali, Circular Railway train services will be regulated in between Bagbazar & Prinsep Ghat section from 15:00 hrs. to 07:00 hrs. of next day o­n 05.11.2021 (Friday), 06.11.2021 (Saturday) and 07.11.2021 (Sunday).

Consequently, following arrangement in train running has been made:

 Short termination/Origination

·03 (Three) Nos. of Circular Railway EMU local (30312, 30152 and 30314) will be short terminated at Kolkata Station and 03 (Three) Nos. of Circular Railway EMU local (30331, 30111 and 30313) will be short originated from Kolkata station.

·2 (Two) pairs of Circular Railway EMU local (30122, 30123, 30154 and 30135) will be diverted and short terminated at/short originated from Sealdah (North) station.

·1 (One) pair of Circular Railway EMU local (30711 and 30552) will be short terminated at/short originated from Ballygunge station.

·1 (One) pair of Circular Railway EMU local (30112 and 30317) will be diverted via Kankurgachhi Road Jn-Ballygunge route and short terminated at/short originated from Ballygunge station.

·1 (One) pair of Circular Railway EMU local (30416 and 30451) will be short terminated at/short originated from Majerhat station.

Besides, 1 (One) No.  of Circular Railway EMU local( 30332)  will be diverted via Kankurgachhi Road Jn-Ballygunge route.

ER OBSERVED INTERNATIONAL LEVEL CROSSING AWARENESS DAY

Kolkata, June 11, 2020:

Eastern Railway has launched an awareness campaign today o­n the occasion of observance of International Level Crossing Awareness Day .

Awareness building campaign has been conducted at important level crossing gates over four Divisions of ER viz. Asansol, Howrah, Malda & Sealdah in which Safety Officers, Supervisors were participated under the guidance of Chief Safety Officer, Eastern Railway.

Massive awareness campaign has been organised o­n this occasionat the LC Gates at Barrackpore, Baruipur, Bagbazar, BBD Bag, Krishnanagar, Bally, Uttarpara, Srirampur, Seoraphuly and all other important LC Gates over ER.

Awareness building leaflets and brochures o­n guidelines for passing through the LC Gates and dangers of passing through the level crossing in closed condition etc were distributed among the persons approached to LC Gate for building mass awareness towards observing the safety rules at level crossings. Counselling of Level Crossing Gate users were also conducted at several places to build the habit of observing safety rules.

Everywhere social distancing and all other hygienic stipulations are being maintained.
