Shri Vinay Kumar Tripathi, Chairman & CEO of Railway Board arrived at Chennai today on a two-day official tour. Today (28-10-2022) he inspected the Integral Coach Factory during the first half of the day. After his inspection at ICF he visited Southern Railway Headquarters Hospital at Perambur. Shri Vinay Kumar Tripathi inaugurated a well equipped hostel facility for the resident doctors of Perambur Railway Hospital. He also commissioned the Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) integrated clinical information system at the hospital. Later, a review meeting was held with the Southern Railway officials and Doctors at the hospital. After his inspection at Railway hospital, the Chairman & CEO left for Attipattu station for inspection of various railway sidings. Along with Railway officials, he had a meeting with officials of Kamarajar Port, Ennore, Chennai and discussed various aspects about movement of coal consignment by rail. Shri Vinay Kumar Tripathi, the Chairman & CEO, was accompanied by Shri.B.G.Mallya, General Manager, Southern Railway, Principal Heads of the departments, Divisional Railway Manager, Chennai and other senior officials.

As approved by the Railway Board, the following Daily Unreserved Express specials will be resume services as detailed below. 1. Train No. 06475 / 06474 Shoranur Junction – Nilambur Road – Shoranur Junction Unreserved Express Specials Train No. 06475 Shoranur Junction – Nilambur Road Unreserved Express Special will leave Shoranur Junction at 20.10 hrs on and from 01st July, 2022 onwards and reach Nilambur Road at 22.00 hrs the same day. Similarly, Train No. 06474 Nilambur Road – Shoranur Junction Unreserved Express Special will leave Nilambur Road at 20.00 hrs on and from 01st July, 2022 onwards and reach Shoranur Junction at 21.40 hrs the same day. Train No. 06750 Gudur - Sullurupeta Daily Unreserved MEMU Express Special Train No. 06750 Gudur - Sullurupeta Daily Unreserved MEMU Express Special will leave Gudur at 17.15 hrs on and from 27th June, 2022 onwards and reach Sullurupeta at 18.25 hrs the same day.
