Shri Gajanan Mallya, General Manager, SCR conducts Inspection of Guntakal Division -Annual inspection between Gudur – Renigunta and Tirupati- Katpadi sections conducted





Shri Gajanan Mallya, General Manager, South Central Railway undertook Annual Inspection of Gudur – Renigunta section of Guntakal Division today i.e., 23rd February, 2021. He was accompanied by Shri Alok Tiwari, Divisional Railway Manager, Guntakal Division and other senior officials throughout the inspection.

The General Manager commenced inspection at the Level Crossing Gate between Kondagunta – Vendodu stations where he examined safety aspects and interacted with the Gateman. He visited Venkatagiri Railway Station, reviewed various passenger amenities, inspected Station Manager’s office, booking office, circulating area and also interacted with Track Maintainers. He inaugurated Natural Water Cooler facility set up at Venkatagiri station for the usage of passengers. He inspected Level Crossing Gate between Yathalur - Venkatagiri stations. The General Manager conducted a Speed Test of 110 Kmph in the section to examine the increase of sectional speed capacity to run trains with enhanced speed in the section. Also, the General Manager inspected a Minor & Major bridge before inspecting the operational facilities at New Tiruchanur Crossing Station.

Shri Gajanan Mallya reviewed the additional loop line works being carried out at Chandragiri Railway Station. He inspected a Road under Bridge and Minor Bridge in the section. He inspected minor & major bridge o­n Krishpuram river and Rallayeru Bridge. The General Manager during his visit at Pakala Railway Station inspected various facilities available at station and discussed about the station developmental plans with officials. He inspected facilities available at Health Unit. He reviewed the Good work done by the Division. The General Manager planted saplings towards green environment at Pakala Railway Station premises. The General Manager inaugurated a 5 KWp Solar Plant for Net Zero Energy Station at Rachagunneri Station and 10 KWp Solar Plant for Net Zero Energy Station at Vendodu station in the presence of Shri Somesh Kumar, Principal Chief Electrical Engineer, SCR.

Shri Gajanan Mallya, General Manager, South Central Railway inspected Chandragiri Railway station, reviewed the progress of works and discussed o­n further developmental plans of the station with Officials. He inaugurated a 15 KWp Solar Plant for Net Zero Energy Station at Chandragiri Railway Station.

Later, he inspected Road Over Bridge (ROB) in Tirupati – Katpadi Section along with inspection of Level Crossing gate and Bridge. The General Manager inspected new crossing station and interacted with Track Maintainers at Bommasamudram Railway station.
