दकà¥à¤·à¤¿à¤£à¤ªà¥‚रà¥à¤µà¤°à¥‡à¤²à¤µà¥‡ SOUTH EASTERN RAILWAY पà¥à¤°à¥‡à¤¸à¤µà¤¿à¤œà¥à¤žà¤ªà¥à¤¤à¤¿ PRESS RELEASE 24 STATIONS ARE COVERED WITH“ONE STATION onE PRODUCT†OUTLETS IN JHARKHAND TO PROVIDE A MARKET FOR LOCAL/INDIGENOUS PRODUCTS Kolkata, 16th May, 2023: Ministry of Railways has launched ‘One Station one Product’ (OSOP) scheme over Indian Railways with objectives to promote ‘Vocal for Local’ vision of the Government of India, provide a market for local/indigenous products and create additional income opportunities for the marginalized sections of the society. Under the scheme, OSOP outlets at railway stations are allotted for showcasing, selling and giving high visibility to indigenous/local products. The pilot of the scheme was started on 25.03.2022 and as on 01.05.2023, altogether 728 stations are covered with 785 OSOP outlets in 21 States and 3 Union Territories across the country. In the State of Jharkhand, 25 outlets of ‘One Station one Product’ at 24 stations have been started. For uniformity, these OSOP stalls are designed through National Design Institute. Cumulative Direct Beneficiaries from March 2022 till 01.05.2023 is 25,109. ‘One Station one Product’ are specific to that place and include artefacts made by indigenous tribes, handlooms by local weavers, handicrafts like world famous wood carving, tribal jwellery, spices tea, coffee and other processed/semi processed food items/products indigenously grown in the area. In order to clear extra rush, South Central Railway will run Dailyspecial Trains between various destinations as detailed below:-
Train No. 07466/07467 Rajahmundry – Visakhapatnam – Rajahmundry Special Trains: These special trains will stop at Kadiyam, Dwarapudi, Anaparthi, Bala Bhadrapuram, Bikkavolu, Medapadu, Samalkot, Pithapuram, Gollaprolu, Durgada Gate, Ravikampadu, Annavaram, Timmapuram, Hamsavaram, Tuni, Bullipadu, Narsingapalli, Kasimkota, Anakapalle, Duvvada and Marripalem halt stations in both the directions. Please note – Train No. 07466 Rajahmundry – Visakhapatnam will also stop at Bayyavaram and Thadi stations. Train No. 07468/07469 Visakhapatnam – Vizianagaram – Visakhapatnam Special Trains: These special trains will stop at Marripalem, Simhachalam, Pendurthi, Kottavalasa, Kantakapalle, Alamanda and Korukonda stations in both the directions. Train No. 07470/07471 Visakhapatnam – Palasa – Visakhapatnam Special Trains: These special trains will stop at Marripalem, Simhachalam, Pendurthi, Kottavalasa, Kantakapalle, Alamanda, Korukonda, Viziangaram Jn, Nellimarla, Garividi, Chipurupalli, Batwa, Sigadam, Ponduru, Dusi, Srikakulam Road, Urlam, Tilaru, Harischandrapuram, Kotabommali, Dandugopalapuram, Naupada, Rautpuram, and Pundi stations in both the directions.
