ECoR EMPLOYEES PARTICIPATED IN HAR GHAR TIRANGA DRIVE

●          All Railway Accommodations/Quarters hoisted Tri-colour from 13th to 15th August, 2022.

●          Stations & Railway Establishments over ECoR hoisted National Flag during Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign.

●          Residents of Railway Colonies and Staff residing outside Railway accommodation hoisted National Flag at their home.

To mark 75th year of India’s Independence, East Coast Railway has taken Har Ghar Tiranga Drive under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, to encourage its employees to bring the Tiranga at their home and to hoist from 13th to 15th August’2022.

Citizens of the country along with Railway Employees relationship with the National Flag has always been more formal and institutional than personal. Bringing the National Flag to their home collectively, as the nation in the 75th year of independence, thus becomes symbolic of not only an act of personal connection to the Tiranga but also an embodiment of their commitment to Nation-Building. The idea behind the initiative is to invoke the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of the employees and to promote awareness about the Indian National Flag.

Employees and officers of East Coast Railway led by its General Manager (I/C) Shri Sharad Kumar Srivastava participated in the Har Ghar Tiranga Drive to bring the patriotism amongst the Railway employees by hoisting the National Flag at their home and to promote awareness about the Indian National Flag.

Earlier, General Manager Shri Srivastava had appealed all its employees to participate in the Har Ghar Tiranga Drive and advised all Principal Heads of the Departments and Divisional Railway Managers to take necessary action so that every employees can be involved in the drive. Steps were taken to distribute National flag amongst all employees.
