WESTERN RAILWAY TO EXTEND TRIP OF BANDRA TERMINUS - GORAKHPUR SUMMER SPECIAL TRAIN For the convenience of passengers and with a view to meet the travel demand, Western Railway has decided to extend the trip of Train No. 05054/05053 Bandra Terminus – Gorakhpur Weekly Summer Special train on Special fare on existing composition, timings, stoppages, etc. According to a press release issued by Shri Sumit Thakur – Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, details of the train is as under: â—Train No. 05054/05053 Bandra Terminus – Gorakhpur Weekly Summer Special Train No. 05054 Bandra Terminus – Gorakhpur Special will now have an additional trip on 24th June, 2023. Similarly, Train No. 05053 Gorakhpur - Bandra Terminus Special will now have an additional trip on 23rd June, 2023. The booking of extended trips of Train No. 05054 will open from 18th June, 2023 at PRS counters & on IRCTC website. Shri Arun Kumar Jain, General Manager, South Central Railway held a detailed review meeting on Safety of train operations on the Zone today i.e., 12th June, 2023 at Rail Nilayam, Secunderabad along with Principal Heads of Departments. Divisional Railway Managers (DRMs) of all the six divisions viz., Vijayawada, Guntakal, Guntur, Secunderabad, Hyderabad and Nanded Divisions participated through video conference. During the review meeting, Shri Arun Kumar Jain laid primary focus on ensuring compliance of worksite safety requirements without fail. He reviewed the month long safety drive being undertaken by the zone involving various departments such as Electrical, Mechanical, Signal & Telecommunications, Operating and Engineering. He advised the officials and staff to strictly adhere to safe working condition of equipments, proper maintenance of registers pertaining to train operations and undertake all necessary pre-monsoon precautionary measures.
