REGULATION OF TRAINS DUE TO DEVELOPMENTAL WORKS IN KHARAGPUR DIVISION 

Kolkata, 14th April 2023:

         In view of Pre Non Interlocking Work from 16.04.2023  to 18.04.2023 and Non Interlocking work o­n 19.04.2023 and 20.04.2023 at Nekurseni Station in Kharagpur Division of South Eastern Railway in connection with Narayangarh - Bhadrak 3rd Line Work, the following trains will be regulated as under:-

Cancellation of Trains:-

  1. 12074/12073 Bhubaneswar - Howrah - Bhubaneswar Jan Shatabdi Express, journey commencing o­n 17.04.2023 will remain cancelled.

  2. 12278/12277 Puri - Howrah - Puri Shatabdi Express, journey commencing o­n 17.04.2023 & 20.04.2023 will remain cancelled.

  3. 18046 Hyderabad - Shalimar East Coast Express, journey commencing o­n 16.04.2023, 18.04.2023 & 19.04.2023 will remain cancelled.

  4. 18045 Shalimar - Hyderabad East Coast Express, journey commencing o­n 17.04.2023, 19.04.2023 & 20.04.2023 will remain cancelled.

  5. 18043/18044 Howrah -Bhadrak - Howrah Express, journey commencing o­n 18.04.2023, 19.04.2023 & 20.04.2023 will remain cancelled.

Short Termination of Trains:-

  1. 18038 Jajpur Keonjhar Road - Kharagpur Express, journey commencing o­n 17.04.2023 will be Short terminated at Dantan

  2. 18022 Khurda Road - Kharagpur Express, journey commencing o­n 18.04.2023 will be Short terminated at Dantan.

Rescheduling of Train:-

  1. 12881 Shalimar -Puri Garib Rath Express will be rescheduled to leave Shalimar at 21.45 hrs. instead of 20.45 hrs. o­n 18.04.2023.

3RD RAIL LINE PROJECT BETWEEN KHORDHA ROAD AND BARANG TO BE COMPLETED SOON


 

 

●      Work Expedited with Dismantling of Old ROB.

 

●      Top slab removed, today.


 

The 3rd Line Work between Khurda Road and Barang is going to be completed soon. The Road Over Bridge (ROB) between Mancheswar and Vani Vihar Railway Station has been expedited with dismantling of Old ROB.

 

To dismantle the Old ROB, another ROB has been constructed to handle vehicular traffic o­n National Highway between Bhubaneswar and Cuttack. Road Traffic has been diverted via new ROB after its completion. Railways have also planned to dismantle this work before 3 months. Keeping in view the World Cup Hockey, this work was delayed slightly.

 

Railways have earlier planned to complete the much-delayed project within a minimum time. Evacuation of slum, construction of new ROB and other challenges made this work delayed, earlier. o­n completion of third line work, the train operations in busy Barang-Khurda Road Railway Section will get benefit.

 

General Manager, East Coast Railway Shri Manoj Sharma congratulated the entire team for this success.
