FEW WR TRAINS AFFECTED DUE TO NON-INTERLOCKING WORK IN RAILWAY SECTIONS OF NORTH WESTERN & CENTRAL RAILWAYS

Due to non-interlocking work for various railway projects at Khatipura station of Jaipur Division of North Western Railway and in Khandwa Yard of Central Railway, few trains will be canceled and diverted.

According to a press release issued by Shri Sumit Thakur – Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, the details of these trains are as under:

Cancellation of Trains:

1.Train No. 12215 Delhi Sarai Rohilla – Bandra Terminus Garibrath Express of 12th, 16th, 17thand 19th January, 2023.

2.Train No. 12216 Bandra Terminus – Delhi Sarai Rohilla Garibrath Express of 13th, 17th, 18thand 20th January, 2023.

3.Train No. 20937 Porbandar – Delhi Sarai Rohilla Express of 7th, 10th, 14th and 17th January, 2023.

4.Train No. 20938 Delhi Sarai Rohilla – Porbandar Express of 9th, 12th, 16th and 19thJanuary, 2023.

Diversion of Trains:

1.Train No. 19408 Varanasi – Ahmedabad Express of 7th January, 2023 will be diverted via Rewari – Ringas – Phulera.

2.Train No. 19402 Lucknow – Ahmedabad Express of 10th January, 2023 will be diverted via Bharatpur – Sawai Madhopur – Jaipur.

3.Train No. 20938 Delhi Sarai Rohilla – Porbandar Express of 23rd January, 2023 will be diverted via Rewari – Ringas – Phulera.

4.Train No. 19269 Porbandar – Muzaffarpur Express of 19th January, 2023 will be diverted via Phulera – Ringas – Rewari.

5.Train No. 12215 Delhi Sarai Rohilla – Bandra Terminus of 21st, 23rd and 24thJanuary, 2023 will be diverted via Rewari – Ringas – Phulera.

6.Train No. 19045 Surat – Chhapra Tapti Ganga Express of 9th January, 2023 will be diverted via Ratlam – Nagda – Bhopal – Itarsi.

7.Train No. 19046 Chhapra – Surat Tapti Ganga Express of 8th January, 2023 will be diverted via Itarsi – Bhopal – Nagda – Ratlam.

Indian Railways deliver 19408 MT of LMO to the Nation

Southern Railway delivers nearly 2000 MT of LMO

for the states of Tamil Nadu and Kerala

Southern Railway has delivered nearly 1997.36 MT of LMO for the states of Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

For Tamil Nadu 1617.16 MT of LMO has been delivered through 27 Oxygen Express trains.

The twenty-sixth Oxygen Express from Jindal Steel Siding, Dolvi, Maharastra with 4 containers carrying 70.31 MT arrived at Inland Container Depot, Tondiarpet at 5.30 hours of today (28-5-2021). The twenty-seventh Oxygen Express also dispatched from Jindal Steel Siding, Dolvi with 3 containers carrying 63.86 MT arrived at Tondiarpet at 18.30 hours today (28-5-2021).

Two more loaded rakes for Tamil Nadu, o­ne with 4 containers carrying 85.83 MT and the other with 2 tankers carrying 31.02 MT,  dispatched from Rourkela are in transit.

As of date, Inland Container Depot, Tondiarpet handled 19 loaded Oxygen Express rakes carrying 1192.95 MT of LMO. o­ne rake each was delivered to Tondiarpet Goods Yard (30.5MT) and Tiruvallur (31.4 MT).  Also, o­ne Oxygen Express each delivered to Milavattan (78.82 MT), Vadipatti (79.31 MT) and Kudal Nagar (66.12 MT).  Madukkarai near Coimbatore received three Oxygen Express rakes carrying a total of 138.06 MT.

Oxygen Express for Kerala

Kerala received its first loaded oxygen express carrying 6 Oxygen containers (117.9 MT) from Tata Steel Siding in Kalinganagar, Odisha o­n 16-05-2021 at Vallarpadam Container Terminal, Kochi. The second Oxygen Express for Kerala from Rourkela carrying 128.66 MT in 7 containers arrived at Vallarpadam Container Terminal, Kochi o­n 22-5-2021. The third Oxygen Express loaded at Rourkela (Odisha) for Vallarpadam Container Terminal, Kochi with 7 Containers carrying 133.64 MT of  LMO arrived at the destination o­n 27- 5-2021.

These three Oxygen Express trains delivered 380.2 MT of Oxygen to Kerala.

Indian Railways has delivered more than 19408 MT of LMO in more than 1162 tankers to various state across the country. 289 Oxygen Expresses have completed their journey so far.   614 MT of Oxygen has been offloaded in Maharashtra, nearly 3731 MT in Uttar Pradesh, 656 MT in Madhya Pradesh, 5185 MT in Delhi, 1967 MT in Haryana, 98 MT in Rajasthan, 1773 MT in Karnataka, 320 MT in Uttarakhand, 1617.16 MT in Tamil Nadu, 1268 MT in Andhra Pradesh, 225 MT in Punjab, 380.2 MT in Kerala, 1432 MT in Telangana, 38 MT in Jharkhand and 160 MT in Assam.

Running o­n high priority Green Corridor, with a highest sense of urgency, Railways is creating new standards and unprecedented benchmarks in running of Oxygen Express Freight Trains. The average speed of these critical Freight trains is way above 55 in most cases over long distances. Running of new Oxygen is a very dynamic exercise and figures keep getting updated all the time.
