RPF personnel act swiftly to recover Passenger belongings

The Railway Protection Force (RPF) Personnel belonging to Secunderabad Division of SCR exhibited their devotion to duty by promptly acting to recover and safely handover the lost belongings of a rail passenger yesterday i.e.13th March, 2015

Going into datails, Smt. S. Padmaja, a resident of Santhapet, o­ngole, Prakasam District, Andhra Pradesh was travelling from o­ngole to Ramagundam by Train No. 12615 Chennai Central – New Delhi Grand Trunk Express. o­n reaching her destination, Ramagundam o­n 13th March 2015, the passenger got down from the coach, leaving behind her hand purse containing 40 gms gold chain (mangalsutras), 3,500 cash and PAN card kept inside the pillow o­n her berth No-72 of S1 coach. 

After the train left Ramagundam station, the passenger noticed that she had forgotten her belongings and informed of the same to the RPF personnel. o­n receipt of information, the Inspector, RPF, Sirpurkagaznagar alerted the o­n duty coach Travelleing Ticket Examiner (TTE), Sri R. Sandeep and Sri K. Gopal Reddy the o­n- duty RPF staff at Ballarshah. 

The TTE recovered the passenger belongings and handed over the same to the RPF staff.Further, the belongings were kept in safe custody at Sirpurkagaznagar and the passenger was informed of the recovery. The passenger, along with her husband called o­n the RPF 

Inspector, Sirpur Kagaznagar who handed over the recovered belongings to her after scrutiny of identity. The women passenger, Smt S. Padmaja was delighted at getting back her lost belongings in-tact and the couple conveyed their appreciation of the RPF personnel and the TTE for their duty mindedness.
