Eunuch Offenders apprehended by RPF for Extortion

Three eunuchs entered into a coach of Train No. 12295 Bangalore-Patna Sangamitra Express, between Vijayawada and Warangal o­n 14th April, 2015 in General compartment at about 00.45 hrs, and started demanding money from a passenger. He gave them Rs. 100/- but they did not satisfy and forcibly clinched an amount of Rs. 5000/- available with him. o­n seeing the same Co-passengers pulled the alarm chain. RPF train escorting staff o­n duty of the Warangal Post, Secunderabad Division immediately attended the coach and apprehended the eunuch culprit and handed over to Inspector, Railway Protection Force, Warangal. The Government Railway Police, Warangal along with Crime Prevention & Detection team of RPF rushed to the train and apprehended the remaining two eunuchs who were also troubling other passengers and registered a case and took up for further investigation.

On further investigation by GRP, Warangal revealed that, o­ne complaint has been already lodged by a passenger at Beitul Railway station and GRP, Amla registered a case for extorting an amount of Rs. 27, 000/- by the above mentioned eunuchs.

A Person apprehended for stealing ladies hand bag with valuables in train:-

On 15thApril, 2015, Crime Prevention & Detection Squad of Railway Protection Force, Vijayawada Division while escorting Train No. 22870, Chennai-Visakhapatnam Express between Nellore and Vijayawada have apprehended o­ne person with suspicious movements. o­n enquiry he revealed that, he has committed theft of a ladies hand bag in S-6 coach of the train and taken out valuables such as Gold Ear studs, o­ne mobile phone and cash of Rs. 520/- totaling to an amount of Rs. 41,000/- from the hand bag.

Inspector, RPF, o­ngole handed over the apprehended person along with the seized valuables to Government Railway Police (GRP), o­ngole. The GRP, o­ngole registered a case for further investigation.
